Induces static

  • By Dale from Fayetteville NC USA on Tuesday, August 07, 2012
  • Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, quality construction, low price
  • Cons: Static loud enough to interfere with safe communication.
  • Review: This specific headset induces considerable static ? I've tried it in several different planes, and with every available squelch setting. As I've read dozens of positive reviews for this headset, I'm sure there is a problem with this set and not with the whole product line. I've heard that both MyPilotStore and Dave Clark offer complete and fair service, so I am confident the product will be repaired.

Pretty good buy overall

  • By neil on Friday, March 13, 2009
  • Pros: Strength
  • Cons: Clamp
  • Review: Fairly satisfied with the product. Went above and beyond my expectation for $300 headset. Not a real fan of the clamp force on the headset though. Excellent durability wise and construction is definitely strong. lasted me 4 years and still going. I am upgrading to a Zulu at this point in time but fairly awesome buy none the less.
