Required a bit of modification to work for me. The elastic leg strap must be threaded through a slot in the plastic piece that holds the metal clip each time you put the chart holder on your leg. A little inconvenient, but it works. I turned the clip around on the holder so that it opens toward the end of the holder to which the strap attaches, and bent the bottom of the clip to fit the contour of my leg so that it doesn't present a poking or cutting risk.
