Bad Format

  • By Rex from Colorado Springs on Wednesday, February 11, 2015
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: In the old format I could have multiple landing sites and continue into the remarks section. Now I have to use the remarks section for my route.
  • Review: The new format is horrible. I've used this book for 46 years of flying and now somebody decided to change the format and screwed up a very good thing. Why did we fix something that wasn't broken. Now I'm using the -30 black logbook. Not everybody flies airplanes, us helicopter pilots will land at 6 or 7 locations on one flight, the old format was perfect.

Falls apart like no other.

  • By Chris from Grand Forks, ND on Thursday, March 13, 2008
  • Pros: Seems like enough spaces in it
  • Cons: Poor construction, falls apart.
  • Review: My logbook came completly apart. The binding/spin of the book is very poor construction. i have less than 150 hrs and its done for. Not going with this one again. This is getting retired and I getting a new one. Also no notes page for ground logs.
