Pros: Plug and go. Good construction and quality so far from DC.
Cons: Cost. Cord may be short depending on application, but the coiling may just need to stretch/break-in.
Review:
Authentic product which helped covert a mil dual impedance DC H10-66XL headset, which came with the original single mil/helo plug, for GA use. Be sure to set the impedance switch to "high" in order for it to work.
Works with no issues, well constructed, plug and play on the XL-9V module (battery box). You can find used headsets for cheap on eBay and pay about the same for a standard non-ENC H10-13 after converting to this plug.
It is a bit spendy, but it seems well worth the cost and quality from DC, and there isn't a real reliable alternative. Only gripe was a personal preference for straight cord vs. coiled cord. I got used to it after a while, but depending on your size and the distance from the GA plugs in your aircraft and where you put your battery box, the coiled cord does pull on the headset a bit, which may cause some fatigue as the H10-66XL already is one of the heavier headsets.
