Pros: Preserves night vision, bright and dim capable
Cons: wish there was a press-and-hold mode for dim setting. Bright is too bright in a cockpit.
Review:
Depends on your use but this might be too bright. Green is by far the best color to preserve night vision (as was told to me by a friend in combat search and rescue). I agree. If you want it for walk arounds, it's good. Has a mode for press-and-hold that illuminates at the bright setting. The other mode cycles through bright, dim, strobe and off if you press the button in a short enough time. So you can double-click to get a low setting, which works for night flights. Wish you could set it up for press-and-hold in the low setting.
