Great idea needs 1 tweak

- Cons: Internal pocket zipper beating up log book
- Review: This does what it is supposed to. My only gripe is the internal pocket zipper is chewing up the edge of my log book. I am going to remove the zipper & replace with velcro.

A great way to organize important pilot documentation all in one place

- Cons: Interor pockets need to be better designed to accomodate dimensions of required documents such as medical certificate
- Review: This is very nice item for convenient storage and organization of important pilot documents such as license, medical certificate, course or training certificates, and logbook all in one place. There is also a second pocket that I use to keep a second logbook, which enables me to always have my early pilot training and flight experience documentation readily available if it is ever needed. The zippered pouch provides space for additional items like a small plotter or flight computer/calculator or addional documents. This item is well made, and probably the best in the under $30 price range. The nylon material gives this cover a professional look that is also durable against wear from routine handling in and out of the airplane and suggests that this item should retain a pristine appearance for a longtime. The padded feature is unique and sets this cover apart from others at providing added durability and protection for whatever contents it holds. I would prefer a snap fastener instead of the velcro closure, but the latter enables flexibility to really stuff alot into this cover if necessary. The interior vinyl pockets could be designed to better accomodate key documents. There are only 4 vinyl pockets that will accomodate items about the size of a pilot's license and credit cards. However, none of these compartments will accomodate a standard medical cert without folding it, thereby making it impossible to have all pertinent information on that document conveniently displayed. There are other logbook holders on the market that have better interior design and efficiency for holding pilot certficates and things like credit cards, but they appear to be not as well constructed and cannot accomodate additional bulky items like flight computers or an additional logbook. Therefore, despite that this logbook cover could be improved through better design of the certificate pockets, I recommend it because it is durable and can safely hold alot of information related to a pilot's flight experience.

- Cons: Outside dimensions a little too large (excess padding) Check to make sure it will fit in your flight bag before ordering.
