Needed a new one to replace the old one

  • By Deathgrip Dave the Skydiver from North Bend OR USA on Tuesday, April 21, 2015
  • Pros: I find the finger button with a Velcro band to attach to a couple fingers to be very convenient.
  • Cons: After heavy continuous use the tactile click disappears.
  • Review: I got this because the old (same model) PTT finger switch lay in the sun too many times and the jacket of the coil cord disintegrated. So I got another one that should be good for another 5-6 years.

Good product, but cheaper for a reason.

  • By Jon from Johnson City TN USA on Thursday, July 02, 2009
  • Pros: solid generic product.
  • Cons: The cord is too short by about 2 feet.
  • Review: The product is almost identical to higher priced models. However, there are two small problems. First, the cord is too short by about 1.5 to 2 feet. Second, the velcro attaching strap for the switch needs to be about 4" longer.
