  • Review: Bought the Bendix King KX-99 2700mAh NI-MH Battery because the old Ni-Cad basically died. Do not use the radio a lot but thought I would give the new battery a test flight. After running the battery for 10-12 hours or so it still goes strong. Still have not had to recharge. Bought another because it is just that good. Always nice to have a backup.

  • Review: My old battery in the Bendix King 99 needed charging weekly. Since purchasing this NI-MH battery and charging it for the first time at the beginning of October, I have used the radio a lot more than I used too and the battery still hasn't gone flat from the first charge.
    I live in Blenheim, New Zealand and the transaction was "no problems at all". Very good service.

Great Battery Replacement for KX=99

  • Review: So far so good. I really like that it is a Ni-MH battery so it doesn't have that recharge memory problem of Ni-Cad. The Ni-Cad works best if you discharge all the way before recharging. Since I use this radio mainly for emergencies or for getting airport ATIS before starting the aircraft engine, mine never gets used that way. This type of battery can cope with a life of partial discharge. I also really like the condensed operating instructions printed on the front because of my infrequent usage of the radio.
