This product is falsely advertised. It DOES NOT come with the software, and it DOES NOT work with the VXA-710. It is not the correct adapter. I called and told them that, so they sent me a different one promising me it would work, and it is still not the correct one. I'm $85 poorer and still not able to program my VXA-710 radio! If you feel like making a donation to mypilotstore.com and having yet another item to throw in the garbage, you should purchase this, otherwise don't waist your money or time.

Not the right cable, old version of SW...

- Cons: Not yet a solution but I couldn't find anything else close.
- Review: The cable comes in two parts. One segment was correct (computer side), other part was not even close (radio side). I was able to find the radio side of the cable on internet (for an additional $49). Software is buggy but works on XP (not Vista unless you are a guru). Found the latest SW version on internet but still buggy and old. Wish I had the source to fix it...
