Volume problems

- Pros: Allows use of MP3 players while flying en route
- Cons: Volume is weak for COMs
- Review: I didn't like the product because as soon as I turned on my MP3 player the volume for the COMs was very weak and it was hard to listen to ATC. It's not bad if you are flying VFR and don't have to worry about listening to ATC all the time.

Not great

- Cons: too much messing around in flight
- Review: Reduces com volume badly and can barely hear the music from the i pod. My airplane is very noisy though, it's a Pitts S-1 I had to buy a headphone amplifier as well which did the trick.

Sort of works, with no volume control

- Pros: Easy to install with not to much mess.
- Cons: Volumes have to be set a max to hear ATC and intercom. MP3 volume set on high also.
- Review: It will split audio input from an MP3 device and the aircraft audio panel with no volume control to speak of. Poor side tone on transmissions and intercom. Used with a Bose headset in a King Air.

- Review: For the first 3 days I used this product it worked great! However, after that, I could hear music fine from my ipod, but I could not hear any radio transmisisons. It could be due to the 40 below temps in my work environment (cold Alaska winters), but not quite sure why it quit working...
