Good book, but not in new condition

    When I ordered the book, the first time it arrived, the shipping box was empty and torn apart - someone must have really wanted my FAR/AIM. Mypilotstore promptly reshipped another FAR/AIM. Downside the second time is that the book came worn. It wasn't anything more than an cosmetic problem, so I just kept it. Not sure what happened there. These issues may not be directly mypilotstore's fault, I am just commenting on the experience.

Paper beats pdf

    Bought this set ahead of my checkride, as my printed FAR/AIM was 4 years out of date. The printed version was just as expected, and I tabbed it out on the relevant sections I might be quizzed one. The electronic version? Meh, give it a pass. .pdf files can be superb if properly bookmarked by the creator (the scan of the 5th Ed. D&D manual floating around on certain sites, for example), but this one merely has a single page clickable table of contents that directs to the various FAR parts. That's all. And the .pdf is just FAR, no AIM section. Save your money, just buy the print version.
