  • Review: This yoke is near perfect. The only problem is the the push/pull axis does not move smoothly. And that's a serious issue. So much so that a purchased a Honeycomb Alpha only to be displeased with everything about is except the smoothness of the action.

Good with minor drawbacks

  • Pros: Very good graphics and fairly realistic performance simulation, at least with respect to light singles I’ve flown.
  • Cons: Centering spring of time is quite annoying, as it’s behavior is not characteristic of a real aircraft; however, if one simply considers such anomalies as yet another challenge, such as turbulence, it’s not much of a problem. After all, the reason for my purchase was to practice my instrument scan.
  • Review: I purchased these controls for use with XPlane11 with the intent of keeping an edge on my instrument skills, especially my scan of glass displays, of which I have little recent experience. Definitely helps.

Hoping Saitek Yoke less 'sticky or jerky' that CH Eclipse; not so.

  • Pros: Throttle and rudders separate from flight yoke
  • Cons: Flight yoke not working smoothly
  • Review: I guess all flight yokes are 'sticky or jerky' when trying to raise the nose a touch? I do prefer rudder pedals rather than thumb rudder. Tried using vaseline to make it smoother; didn't help. Still 'stick or jerky' on landings.

Joystick ( CH Products F-16 Combatstick (200-568) purchase serperately , Yoke, throttle rudders all worked on plug in my 12 old MAC OSX on X-Plane 8

  • Pros: Plug and play out of the box for my old Mac laptop on OSX
  • Cons: Missing hardware.
  • Review: Joystick, Yoke, Pedals feel like good enough quality, Throttle feels like cheaper quality to me. I would have given these 3 stars, possibly 2 but there are four screws to mount the Throttle to the bracket that clamps the table that did not come with the kit. There are four screws for the pedal extensions that also do not come in the kit. I checked with My Pilot Store, and they verified that screws do not come with the kit. That is odd to me. I have never purchased anything before that does not come with basic mounting hardware. I will need to go to a hardware store to purchase these. Pretty expensive product not to have every part in the box.
