The wind in my whiskers...

  • By I Am Dog from Kelpie Country - Australia on Tuesday, November 07, 2017
  • Pros: Mutt Muffs fits my big ears, and mutes the cat back at home :D
  • Cons: No mic - in space, no one can hear you howl.
  • Review: Paws for thought if you will and consider man's and woman's best friend, and how we love to chalk one up against the cat now and then. My Mutt Muffs are the top dog in canine air apparel, second only to my in-flight dinner bowl.

Fit our Great Dane

  • By Dan from Broken Arrow OK USA on Thursday, February 18, 2021
  • Pros: Adjustable for a good fit
  • Cons:
  • Review: The first concern was whether they would fit a Great Dane, but the extra large size was ample to fit Duke's large head. Next, would he wear them? We were pleased that he seemed eager to try them on and he seems to think they look cool. He wears them for 3+ hour flights and seems content with them. The straps make adjusting the fit to his head easy and they seem to seal well. My guess is the noise reduction makes flying more pleasant for him. Now, when we get the Mutt Muffs out he knows we are going on a trip.

Great product

  • By Frank - very involved non-pilot. from Independence OR USA on Thursday, August 15, 2019
  • Pros: Fits a dog.
  • Cons: If you don't convince the dog that he/she need them, you will have trouble.
  • Review: This is our second pair (second dog). If you let the dog know how much noise there is before putting the Mutt Muffs on, then you probably won't have too much trouble getting the dog to accept them. We started the engine, waited a couple of minutes before putting the Mutt Muffs on, and just taxied around the first time. Obviously you have to have them adjusted for the dog before doing this.

Simple to use

  • By Tilly Says… from Michigan on Tuesday, April 05, 2022
  • Pros: Easy to adjust
  • Cons: Velcro is catchy and makes noises when adjusting your pup might not like
  • Review: Easily to adjust-I was concerned since our critter has a slender head. We put them on her after the engines started. She adapted quickly for the quiet difference.
