Does the job

  • By A Customer from VT on Monday, August 13, 2012
  • Pros: Simple and Effective
  • Cons: Wish the indications on the tool were engraved rather than printed
  • Review: Great tool to have in the bag. Stupid simple to use and very helpful for determing fuel levels. I find myself checking the tank 3 times and getting an average as it is not always the exact same reading, but it gives you some peace of mind when you can put a number on gallons available, not just eyeballing 1/2 or 3/4 tanks. It would be nice though if they engraved the values into the material, as I can see the printed numbers getting scratched off over time

works great

  • By Richard from Cornish NH USA on Tuesday, October 28, 2014
  • Review: It works great in my 1963 Cessna 172E with 19 gallon tanks, seems to read a little on the conservative side (shows less fuel than there actually is) which is fine with me.

Use My Fuel Gage Every Time I Fly

  • By A Customer from Glen Ellen, CA on Wednesday, April 15, 2015
  • Review: My flying lessons are in a Cessna 172M and I use my fuel gage every time I fly. It's easy to use and accurate and a great way to confirm my tanks have the amount of fuel the fuel gages indicate in the cockpit.

Works perfectly

  • By Eric from Chicago IL USA on Thursday, September 21, 2017
  • Review: Using it with an Evektor Sportstar that has two 15.85 gallon tanks. Placed a rubber band near the top for grip security. I agree with a previous customer that some kind of storage case would be nice (I'm using a plastic bag).

  • Review: Can't be beat for handiness and ease of use. The only downside is that it's not immortal - the markings wear off after a good number of uses.
