Next Best Thing to a new Headset

- Review: I guess having a set of ear seals last 25 years is a lot to ask, so I don't know why I was surprised when one of the originals on my David Clarks blew out. Googled replacements and My Pilot Store was the lowest price with the fastest standard delivery. Decision made. My only challenge was, even with YouTube instructions playing repeatedly, the guys at the David Clark factory made replacing these things look a lot easier than it was for me. YouTube pros replaced in less than a minute. Me? Closer to 15. Was worried I'd puncture or tear them, but I got them on and wow, what a huge improvement. Had no idea how much sound was seeping in through the old, collapsing seals. Won't wait for them to burst to replace again.

- Review: I bought these a few months ago and was nervous that they wouldn't make a big difference in the comfort of my headset. However they more than do the job. My headset is also quieter because these seem to seal to my head and around my ears better. They are also a lot more comfortable that the old foam pads I had. The only con I found with these is i can't wear my sun glasses very well with these, unless they are my thin wire frame aviators. other than that they are great!

- Review: I have a set of gel seals on my headset and was amazed how much better the headset fits and the reduction of noise. My CFI didn't have gel seals and mentioned that he would like to get some. I ordered a set fo him for a Christmas gift, he couldn't believe how much more comfortable his old reliable headset was and much quieter. The gel seals work much better over glasses than the foam type. Well worth the price for comfort and noise reduction.

These replacement earseals fit the headset good enough, and they seem more durable than the original pair.
