A must for any future pilot! My 5 1/2 year old loves this jacket! He is very tall for his age 75 to 90th percentile. I ordered a size 8 and it fits very well. He will definitely get at least one more year, and maybe two of use.
I ordered additional patches of his favorite plane the sr-71 blackbird, and zipper pulls of the blackbird and added them to the jacket. There is already an airplane zipper pull that comes with the jacket, and just added another.
Fabric looks like it might be prone to rips, the material seems pretty fragile, and but no problems yet. It's not like it's real leather and the price is great.

- Review: My 8 year old son absolutely loves this jacket. It is very nice and reasonably priced. It looks so good on him, and doesn't feel cheap. It is light weight, so it is good for the fall, or if it is cold enough for a sweat shirt, this is a good alternative. I will say it really runs small. My son wears a size 8, he is 62 lbs and 52 inches tall. I oredered a 14/16 after I read a few of the reviews, and I am glad that I did. It is big on him in terms of length and width, but the sleeves are fine, so it doesn't look ridiculously huge on him. He will get a few years out of it. I think this is a fantastic buy and an awesome looking flight jacket. The inside is lined with a map which looks great, my son loves it!!!
