This is just a really nice piece. It was bought for my uncle, who recently became a member of the United Flying Octogenarians (UFOs), a membership group of aviators over 80 years young. We were seeking a gift which recognized this, and this was just perfect.

Decorative and authentic looking

- Review: I have this mounted high up on a wall that has a vaulted ceiling. It looks good and definitely adds the aviation theme to the room. Mounting was easy with the included hardware. Can be mounted in any rotational position with the given hardware. It is in fact made in China, from a very lightweight wood. I looked online for used authentic propellors but found them to be at a much higher price point. For the price, I think this is a good alternative.
