I acquired an unused, still-in-box H10-76 from a military guy and paid a very good reasonable price for it. Little did I know that it was Military Spec- (single plug) and wont be able to use it on the Cessna Trainer I am using. Upon research online, i came across many conversion kits but with terrible unsatisfactory reviews. I came across MyPilotStore's conversion kit and based on the reviews i read, the "latest" iteration of the conversion kit specific to the H10-76 received very good ratings and reviews. So i took the 'dive' and ordered the kit. In the meantime, i also acquired an affordable aviation headset from Amazon by Cadence with ANR. Both conversion kit and the Amazon order came at the same time. I used the David Clarks first- and it worked flawlessly and with such crisp sound! I used the David Clarks for about and a week and decided to unwrap the Cadence from Amazon. Wow what a difference. The CAdence worked, but the sound was hollow compared to the DC with the conversion kit. Needless to say, the Cadence is in its bag, for passenger or back up use, while the DC's are getting its good use and i could not be any happier! Even my instructor is amazed i scored the DC's and that the conversion kit made it worked! Highly recommendable!

- Review: With my excitement on getting started with my Part 61 flight training, I ended up acquiring a brand new unused David Clark aviation headset. I immediately acquired this headset through Facebook marketplace from a military personnel that had two of this DCs. Well, naive me, although i got it for such a great price, I obviously did not do the research and found out that the DC model i acquired was the H10-76 - military spec with U-174 single plug. oops! I immediately read-up on conversion kits that were available for this headset for civilian use, but to my dismay, the reviews were lackluster. Many pointed out the conversion kit they have did not worked well. Luckily, MyPilot store sold what was touted as "improved" conversion kit. Upon reading up on the reviews, it seem that the ;previous version did have issues and simply did not work as intended. However, I suppose I got the DC at the right time because the latest iteration of the conversion kit was receiving great reviews! Users claiming that the improved version is- well, improved! and that it worked perfectly w/ their H10-76. Needless to say, I took the plunge and ordered the kit. I'm so happy because IT WORKED! My flight instructor was impressed I have David Clarks as my primary headset and were surprised they were the military spec'd H10-76! It has been working quite well plugged into a Cessna 172! The passive noise cancelling is working well, and the sound is clear and crisp!

- Review: This product more than met expectations.I used my David Clark headset for years in military aircraft and hated to think about having to get a more compatible headset. The adapter for the audio works great in most conversions but the mic impedence is different in civilian aircraft. The conversion kit with both the cord adapter and the new mic worked perfectly.

- Review: Converted my military one prong to two prong headset for GA use along with the mic. Worked great. Turned my military headset that was collecting dust into a useable David Clark much less than a cheap headset. Would absolutely buy again.
