Purchased SPO-62 Intercom for a "non-typical" intercom installation. We have a military Humvee used for emergency assist calls as well as search and rescue missions. The road noise inside when at highway speeds is extremely loud and communication between driver and passengers is almost non-existent. After looking at several options, we decided this would be a perfect intercom for our application and it is. We then finished our system with Sigtronics S-45H Helicopter Headsets, and the outcome is perfect. Great improvement with inboard communication and even sounds from outside vehicle have been reduced but not completely blocked, i.e.; traffic, horns, sirens etc. so still safe to drive.
