- Cons: Very difficult to install
- Review: The actual Bose ear cushions are fine but installing them is not easy. I broke one of the headsets' frame in trying to twist it out of the way to get the new ear cushion on. So, the cost of repair of the Headset will probably be in excess of the cost of four pair of the cushions.

- Pros: Better noise reduction.
- Cons: It was difficult to put the new ones on the headset.
- Review: My IFR instructor pointed out that my ear cushions were worn. I hadn't given them a thought before then. I just flew thinking that the cushions were fine. My instructor informed me that they needed to be replaced and that new ones would make a big difference in noise reduction. He was right!
