"Like a Glove"

  • By Todd from West Springfield MA USA on Monday, September 28, 2009
  • Pros: Good Fit
  • Cons: None yet
  • Review: Nice fit. Mine is a 1961 Cessna 172B and they got the fit just right. A little thinner than what I've seen on newer 172's but should do the trick.

They fit and look great

  • By Rich from Farmingdale NY USA on Wednesday, January 18, 2012
  • Pros: Looks great, personalized with N #
  • Cons:
  • Review: Thought they were a bit pricey and took 4 weeks to receive. My old ones (non-Kennon) lasted 10 years before the material started to fall apart. These look like they will last longer. My Kennon window shades have lasted almost 20.

I would buy this product again

  • By Matt from Globe AZ USA on Thursday, January 19, 2012
  • Pros: Looks great and functions ok if folded at small end
  • Cons: Need two more small plugs for remainder of openings
  • Review: The product was nice.  But my daughter in law did not know that my T 210 L had the split intake so the item I received does not fit correctly.

Pretty good

  • By Stephan from Kearney MO USA on Wednesday, March 05, 2014
  • Pros: Look good, fit decent and are made out of a tougher material
  • Cons: Need to be about 1" thicker to fit more securely
  • Review: Reasonably priced cowl plugs that look good and include my N number.
They fit well but are not as thick as my old ones so when I put them in I have to go back and pull them out a inch to keep them from falling in the cowl. When spring arrives we will see how the starlings like them, after all that is there intended purpose.

Great Product

  • By Steve from Mesa AZ USA on Thursday, May 11, 2017
  • Pros: Easy to install. Does not fall out. Quality of material seems to be very good and durable.
  • Cons: Does not quite close the gap at the bottom. Should be made slightly thicker so you aren't so likely to push too far in.
  • Review: This is a good product. It fits the opening very well. It is made with durable, easy to clean material. The N number looks great.
