I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am that my LightSPEED Aviation Zula 3 headset recently failed in the middle of a Check Ride!!! I have used another brand of passive Headsets for over 30 years and never had a failure of any kind. While I have enjoyed the LightSPEED Zula 3 ANR headset purchased new 3 years ago, I am beginning to question the wisdom of this decision given the obviously poor reliability. One the plus side, after paying $20 to ship the headset back to LightSPEED, it was repaired and returned in just over two weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed the problem is fixed and I don’t need to carry a backup headset.
