Worked for me

Pros: Chinese similar to US ATP
Cons: Nothing quite prepares you for the "Chinglish" encountered on the actual CAAC test.
Review: I acquired the Gleim ATP book to help me study for the Chinese ATP written. This was just another step in trying to get a job in China, and in addition to studying the various samples of the CAAC written questions, it was recommended also to study the Gleim ATP book. This turned out to be very much true, as the similarities in questions is "uncanny".
Long story short, I passed the CAAC written on the first try.

Simple and works

Pros: Simple, well organized, color figures when needed
Review: The way Gleim organizes the questions into a logical order makes studying much easier. It is designed to give you the knowledge to pass the test, not much more beyond that as it warns several times in the book. It's the way to go if you like studying with a book, otherwise - go for the cd version for more efficient studying.

I would have waited until the 2008 manual came out to purchase it if only the updating information had been known.
