The primary purpose of Flight/Ground Instructor FAA Written Exam
is to provide you with the easiest, fastest, and least expensive means of
passing the FAA Flight Instructor - Airplane (FIA) knowledge test, which is
required before you can take your flight instructor practical (flight) test.

Pros: Very straight and to the point.
Cons: None
Review: Just exactly what I needed. It is thorough and precise. The explanations were straight to the point. I would recommend this book to anyone. I will buy another when I'm preparing for another rating. The fastest, most efficient way to prepare for a written exam!!

Review: I had to "retake" the CFI written after 35 years to qualify as a designated pilot examiner. It was like telling a lawyer he has to retake the bar exam!
Gleim's guide was superb. Every important point is presented, you take a sample quiz and review, if necessary, and then tackle the "real" questions. The accompanying explanation doesn't simply give the correct answer, it explains why the wrong answers are wrong!
Use it...it's great!
