Good book, but not in new condition
by A Customer from Creve Coeur MO USA

Pros: Excellent customer service
Cons: Product shipping and quality substandard
Review: The book is as expected - the FAR/AIM.

When I ordered the book, the first time it arrived, the shipping box was empty and torn apart - someone must have really wanted my FAR/AIM. Mypilotstore promptly reshipped another FAR/AIM. Downside the second time is that the book came worn. It wasn't anything more than an cosmetic problem, so I just kept it. Not sure what happened there. These issues may not be directly mypilotstore's fault, I am just commenting on the experience.

Exactly what you expect
by Zacchari from Florida USA

Pros: Font, Quality, Cover, Price
Cons: FAA, FAR
Review: ASA does a great job taking perhaps the most boring publication in all of aviation and making it readable. I like the font, page quality, and those cool covers they design every year. Plus the price is right. Now to actually do the reading...

Does what it promises
by Dreaded from Shoreline WA USA

Pros: Comprehensive current reference for virtually all (federal) regulatory information for pilots.
Cons: It's more than 1000 pages long, but what do you expect for a comprehensive reference for aviation regulations.
Review: This is a comprehensive reference for CFR 14 & 49, plus some additional materials (previous known as the Federal Aviation Regulations and Airman's Information Manual). If you are a pilot, and the regulatory information is not in this reference, you almost certainly don't need it.

Review: The AIM is information every pilot should have in their library for reference to the ever changing regulations. The Airport Facility Directory is a great aid that gives additional information of various facilities that you do not have on Sectional Maps.

Couldn't put it down! Awesome book for the whole family!
by Mark from Woodstock GA USA

Pros: It's all there for the looking.
Cons: It could effect your weight and balance.
Review: I was totally blown away by the 2013 FAR/AIM! It's a thrilling read cover to cover. I dazzled over 61.57 and was absolutely enthralled with the exciting descriptions found in 91.155. My heart was so full of joy after reading 2-1-x and 2-2-x in thier entirety. Then, just when things were looking bright, I was deeply saddened to learn of the bad times expressed in 7-1-28. But, after viewing figure 5-1-1 and reading 4-1-13, my spirit soared once again.
