iFLY USB to Serial Cable

This USB to Serial cable allows you to connect your iFly 700 and iFLY 720 to any device that supports NMEA GPS inputs, such as an autopilot, an EFIS, or a fuel flow computer.

When plugged into your iFly, you will be able to configure the specific sentences and desired baud rate. Or you can simply choose "Standard" to send the most common aviation sentences at 4800 baud.  Transmission line is pin #3 on the DB-9 serial plug.

Comments:

• Serial numbers starting with MB9C will need to check their operating system version by going to the system menu, touching Config, System, and noting the OS serial version. It should be 2.0.4 or greater. If you have an earlier version you should call Adventure Pilot for information on upgrading your operating system version.
• Serial numbers starting with MB03 will need to check their operating system version by going to the system menu, touching Config, System, and noting the OS serial version. It should be 3.0.5 or greater. If you have an earlier version you should call Adventure Pilot for information on upgrading your operating system version.
• Some older autopilot units may of the analog type and may require a digital to analog converter.

Warning: The iFly 700 / 720 is a handheld GPS, not certified by the FAA, and therefore should not be wired into a certified aircraft's autopilot.
