Not what I expected by Mike from
Review: Although looked great on the picture the quality is disappointing. The leg strap is simply short and I'm a slender person. The top cover bubbling in flight above 7 thousand apparently due to some air trapped under top layer of material. The hole for the rear camera simply not where it supposed to be so to use camera I have to remove the iPad. The front part that comes around the screen is simply not rectangular and looks like it was cut by a child.

Great care! by Eric, R44 pilot, CFI from Naperville IL USA
Pros: Affordable and has multiple functions; kneeboard, case, & stand Cons: My only real complaint is the knee strap. It could be a tad longer imho. It's pretty tight around my leg. I can't imagine a larger person than me wearing this for very long without their leg going to sleep. Review: This case has met my expectations. It looks and feels very nice for the price.

Not a quality product by KK from Ocala FL USA
Pros: None Cons: leg strap and materials inferior Review: The quality of the product was not as expected. The material is not leather but plastic and the leg strap is made for a very small person (child). The stand does not work well and is not adjustable. Overall, a very disappointing purchase. I would not recommend this product.

Good Value by Robert M from Heathsville VA USA
Pros: price, quality, design Cons: lack of a writing surface Review: I wanted a case that would protect the iPad2 in everyday use and would also be functional in the cockpit (Piper Arrow) as an IFR chart reader with Bad Elf GPS. It works. I use it daily to read newspapers and magazines and find the leg strap useful for holding the iPad2 with one open hand. But most often, when reading in an easy chair, I just prop the unit against a pillow in my lap rather than mess with folding the cover into a stand. The stand feature does work as advertised, but I am too lazy to fiddle with reconfiguring the case. At home the case stays folded in the open position with the strap fastened. In the cockpit, I flip it 180 degrees so that the GPS sticks out the top where it is less likely to get bumped. No problem with holding the satellites in this position. In the Arrow with its manual flaps, there is a possibility of interference between the kneeboard and the flap handle at full flaps. You need to be aware of the placement of your leg and the kneeboard when setting full flaps to avoid cocking the kneeboard and your view of the approach plate about 30 degrees to the left. The case lacks any pockets, other than 2 pen/stylus slots, or writing surfaces. In the cockpit, it is an e-chart holder only. I would like to see some sort of a small attachment for a writing surface to avoid reaching for another clipboard for this purpose. The cases that are hinged on the side may do this better, but this case's top hinge makes the 180 degree flip for the GPS practical. This was more important for me. Overall, it appears to be a well made and well priced product.

Not quite what I expected... by Brad from San Diego, CA
Pros: Overall construction Cons: Leg strap way to small and no stylus Review: The case itself is excellent. It's well built and will certainly protect my iPad. However, the leg strap isn't long enough to fit around the leg of a child. Also, THERE IS NO STYLUS. Yes the ad says there is, but it's a lie. I emailed mypilotstore.com and they told me the manufacturer elected not to include a stylus, so don't expect to see one in the box.
