Functions as advertised. by Brad from Clackamas OR USA
Pros: Help the pad well and easy to rotate. Cons: In the way of controls. Review: This leg strap held my zoom computer pad as advertised. My only problem was not with the strap but with the fact that the zoom is too big in either direction and interfered with my helicopter controls. For airplane or larger cabin helicopters it will be excellent. I highly recommend for those pilots.

Totally useless by Jean Claude from Switzerland
Pros: easy to install Cons: hard to view, hard to tap the screen. Review: I wanted to avoid attaching the tablet to the yoke and blocking off some instruments, or to the windshield with a suction cup, reducing the ouside view. With this strap, the tablet is lying flat, it is difficult to read or even impossible to view when the sun reflects on it. And tapping accurately on the screen is pretty much impossible. It will end its life at the bottom of a drawer.

I would recommend this product to friends by Matt from Woodbury MN USA
Pros: Built well. Hold iPad secure. Cons: None Review: I tried a few options for my iPad in the cockpit. This worked best for me. The iPad doesn't block the panel. It holds the iPad very secure. I use it with the smart cover so the iPad is tilted towards me. It's fine to use with a thin case on your iPad.

Utterly simple by A Customer from USA
Pros: Simple, nothing to break, and takes no space.when stowed. Review: It's a soft strap that closes with velcro around your leg and has two rubber clamps that hold the iPad in place. It folds up into a little coil and stuffs into your flight bag when not in use. It's fast to put on and take off. Amazing solution.

Awesome by NH Flyer from Merrimack NH USA
Pros: Good grip on the iPad Cons: If you have a very large leg, may need extra length for the leg strap Review: Simple to use and very effective. I use it everytime I take a flight. I have other holder types that I have tried from Yoke mount to leg mount, but this is the best and easiest so far.

Simple and Works by Rob from Park Ridge IL USA
Pros: Simple to use and takes up no room in my flight bag. Simple rotation of iPad. Review: Simple product that works well. I primarily fly long IFR cross countries and use two apps on my iPad. Extremely easy to rotate the ipad when switching from viewing enroute charts and moving to approach plates. I use the smart cover for the iPad and it doesn't have to be removed in order to use the strap. The price is a little high for the simplicity, but then again, if you use it a lot and works well I feel I'm getting my monies worth.

Valcro to Small by Andrew from Vicksburg MI USA
Pros: Hold Ipad Securely Cons: Velco strap for around leg is short, not for athletes or anyone with big legs. Review: I like the concept but I am a 220 lbs. athlete with large thighs, I can barely get the valcro to grab as it is so short. It holds the ipad nicely but won't stay velcored around my thigh. Works great for my 8 year old son but not for me. 2 more inches of velcro would make all the difference.

Try before buy. by A Customer from Cumberland Foreside ME USA
Pros: Lite. Cons: Too lite. Review: This strap arrangement is not strong or sturdy enough for the heavy IPad. The Pad slips off the top of my leg often. Also a pad on my leg I interferes with yoke movement. Not this clips fault..

OK for now, but not the right answer. But no one else has it either. by Wayne from Galesville MD USA
Pros: Simple. Holds the iPad securely. Straps to your knee well. Cons: Needs a small tilt up feature, somehow. Review: I fly a Bonanza, and I am looking for a simple iPad kneeboard that also tilts the screen up a bit. And the way the seats are configured, and the way I sit, I cannot use one with all the folding covers that seem to be popular. I liked this because it is simple; holds the iPad firmly, and has a very excellent strap. My only issue is that on my knee the screen tilts down with the bottom higher than the top of the iPad. Thus, the screen will often reorient on you. I really need one that tilts the top of the screen up just a bit. I did also buy a more expensive Sporty's version, put the lowest setting is too high, and it contacts the cross arm on the yoke when it's pulled back. Also, the fold over cover can't fold all the way down because of the seat position. It hits the seat or lays on top of the passenger's knee. Until I find something better, I will continue to use this. I now strap it over my normal aluminum, one piece kneeboard when I need it!

Changing orientation is lame by Sven from Kirkland, WA
Review: I can't believe there is no built-in turning platform that would allow to turn the iPad in 90 degree increments (with a small resistance notch at each cardinal).
Seeing the pilot in the video getting the iPad out of the clip, turn it, and then re-clip it is a fundamental design flaw, especially during a flight.

I like it by Bob H from North Bergen NJ USA
Pros: Straps on easily Cons: I am always surprised on how expensive these simple devices are. Review: I was pleasantly surprised on how steady it holds the ipad to my leg. Being on the opposite leg of my kneeboard it's surprising that it didn't get in the way. It is simple and easy to use.

Works well, very over priced. by Peter from Midlothian VA USA
Pros: Fits ipad2 while it is in a case. Cons: Cost for what you get. Review: Works very well holding my ipad2 while it is IN a form fitting case. I am ignoring the "value". When you look at the strap and clips you see that the profit margin must be HUGE, 2-3 stars if I include the price for what you get. However, what else is there?

A nice addition to the flight bag by Patrick from Appleton WI USA
Pros: Unlike a kneeboard type holder, this can be folded up into a small size and takes nearly no room in your flight bag. Cons: The leg strap is a little short. Review: This is a product I would buy again. It does a great job of holding the iPad, even when it's in the Apple case (I have the original iPad). I found the leg strap a little short. I would say I have an average size thigh, and it just barely fits around it. However, I use it while flying a helicopter so I have to keep it as close to my body as possible to keep the iPad from interfering with the controls. So the strap is wrapped around the thickest part of my leg. In an airplane, you may be able to slide it a little closer to your knee and therefore be around a little thinner part of your thigh.

Great item, does exactly what you want it to. by Charles from Chapel Hill NC USA
Pros: well built, simple, fast, does what you'd expect it to Cons: none so far Review: I've had this item for over a month now, and it fulfills all of my needs. I primarily wanted it for use of my iPad 2 while lying in bed at night. There is no easy way to hold up an iPad whiling lying back, but this leg strap solves that problem (i.e. while supine with legs bent). I've also found other great uses for it, everything from riding the bus to sitting on the John. It's simple, easy, and fast. Attaches quickly with a velcro strap, then it's a matter of seconds to securely attach the iPad... and it's just as easy to remove it. I read a post on here about the strap not fitting around someone's leg. I really think you'd have to have legs the size of a small tree for that to be a problem. It's a great fit for the average human being.

A bit expensive for what you get by Lee from Boston, MA
Pros: Works as advertised, doesn't interfere with yoke, simple and easy to use. Cons: Price, non-elastic leg strap is a bit short. Review: Performs as advertised. Simple, easy to use. Leg strap is a little short and would be better served if it was made of a stretch material. I am hoping the velcro fasteners last as there are only three small strips. $39.95, really? The materials and manufacturing for this product can't cost more than $1.50. Huge aviation markup! Would have received 4 or 5 stars if it were priced at $19.99
