Brilliant by Grant Reynolds from Dubai, U.A.E.
Pros: Everything Cons: Price, Cable stiffness, battery indicator light Review: I would give the unit 4.5 stars if possible. It looses a half star in my opinion because of the attached cable. It is made of a stiff cable that seems to retain its shape thus not laying uniformly from the flight deck roof to the headset. I find this a little annoying as it tends to get in the way under certain circumstances. The Talk Through works OK although on many occasions when the person one is talking to has a soft voice you have to remove one of the ear pieces to understand them. The battery charge indicator starts off as Amber when I think it should start Green. The batteries (2 AA's) last forever. The headset itself is Brilliant - 5 out of 5. It is comfortable and the noise canceling allows volume levels to be reduced significantly. I would highly recommend this unit.

On Tuesday, October 18, 2011 a customer asked:
Q: Is the Sennheiser HMEC 26-T headset available with the 5-pin XLR cable? The instruction manual implies that it is, but elsewhere it appears that it isn't.
A:
No, the "T" series headsets are not available with the 5-pin XLR cable for the Airbus. You would need to get the dual plugs and then use the Fixed Wing to Airbus Adapter. The headset would then still be powered via the AA batteries.
