Best Tarmac jacket I've ever owned by Stephan from Watsonia VIC Australia
Pros: Cheaper than a nomex jacket Cons: nylon and so a fire hazzard. Review: Warm, comfortable and a great fit. Quality of finish is great, I think I have worn it every day since it came in the post. I've had the Base taylor sew hook and pile for my rank slides and SQN patch, it's the same colour as the issue flight suit, and much much warmer that the issue flight jacket. Would be nice to see a cotton or none flamable fabric version at the same sort of price (nomex is best, but so expensive)

Close but no cigar by Ronald J. from Centreville VA USA
Pros: Styling is excellent, Just like the real flight jacket Cons: Since is was made from nylon, when the sleeves were constructed, the sewing bunched too much of the length of the arms up and reduced its length, making the arms a little short. Review: The jacket is an exact replica of the one I wore while on active duty, albiet a little short, should offer long sizes. It was not made of nomex, but that was expected and is not a disqualifer.

by Rampart 31 from APO AE USA
Pros: Quality, fit, fabric color and appearance Cons: Collar would be improved with Thinsulate insulation Review: Jackets were bought for Iraqi Air Force student pilots and were a BIG hit. Although not Nomex, and therefore not authorized for flight by military aircrew, the jackets were just great for pre-flighting on cold mornings and off-flightline wear. The look and feel of the jackets is very close to Nomex and the fit, form and function are among the best copies of the CWU-45P that I've seen. Other pilots who bought similar (non ALPHA) products all wished they had bought an ALPHA jacket. A great jacket at a fair price!

Made in China by robert from zanesfield OH USA
Pros: Price, fit, appearance Cons: Product of China Review: Looks good, fits well (order one size over), priced right, but has one big problem.....I found a tiny little tag below the collar stating "MADE IN CHINA". Big disappointment! I thought this was an American company, proudly making their product in the US!

Zipper does not work well by A Customer from melfa VA USA
Review: This jacket is extremely difficult to zip. I am hoping that using it shall free up the zipper, but I am worried about tearing it off, and it has to be straining the seams to get it to zip.....

would clearly buy again by louis from tupelo MS USA
Pros: value for the money Cons: none Review: Exceeded expectations, great fit. Warm. Zipper a little rough, but for the price, it exceeded expectations. Arm pockets should be deeper and on both arms for the lefties among us.

My husband very pleased with gift!!! by Arlene from Waretown NJ USA
Pros: zipper is metal, not plastic; roomy inside pocket Cons: front pockets open only at top & very high on chest Review: Would have liked to have seen a back view -- didn't realize arm seams were so puckered, stitching seems to "pull" at shoulder(but husband doesn't care). Jacket is warm & comfortable, a good fit despite my husband being at the very upper weight range of XL (was afraid we'd need 2X-mostly for waistline). Unhappy that velcro patch apparently not stitched on completely, & has already pulled away from jacket surface, after only one time attach & remove of id tag ! Would be nice if one could have additional side hand entry to front pockets -- but made to military specs, so.....
