I made two purchases, one to find if the headset was ok, the second because the headset was as good as more expensive ones

Review: So far there is nothing to dislike. The headset works as well as more expensive ones and are more confortable. I now own 6 of the headset. My passengers also like them. I could use more in kid sizes.

Works Well In A Really Noisey Aircraft. (B-25J)

Cons: Tight headband and sensitive mike placement
Review: This product suppresses outside noise while providing good quality sound from crew and ATC. The B25-J is a really loud airplane but, my 4DXL keeps noise I do not want to hear out and allows conversation to be clearly heard.The headset is tight fitting but I am now used to it. The mike must be placed where the insructions tell you to work right.

Great headset

Review: This is a great headset for the price. Great sound quality and the mic picked up my voice very easily. The mic boom was very easy to position just right. Didn't have to spend a ton of time fitting it to my head/face. I am going to have to exchange my headset. It started to squeeze and hurt my head under an hour of flight. I wish they fit me better because I would like to keep them.

Great Headset, Great Price

Review: This is my first headset as a student pilot and so far I have no complaints. It is very comfortable and the transmission quality is great. I borrowed a David Clark headset for my first couple of flights before I got my 4DLX and I can't tell the difference. Overall, it's a great headset for the price.

Good headset for the money

Review: I'm new to aviation and I ordered two of these headsets mainly because of the great price. They work just fine for getting around! The only issue is I have to tilt the mic at a 45' angle for my voice to pick up. Overall I am satified with the product.

Economical and Practical

Review: I just started flying not too long ago and thought that it would be a good idea to purchase my own headset rather than paying $20 to rent them all the time. This is a good set to being your training with. I wouldn't want to wear these for 5 hours at a time because of the weight, but they are an excellent alternative to the $800 sets.

Been using mine for 8 years!!

Review: I bought it because it looked like good value for the money. I used it in stock condition for 5 years. I since added an Oregan Aero hush kit and new ear seals. As I progressed to louder and louder cockpits, I finally installed a jack in one ear cup so I could use communications earplugs underneath it. My trusty little $120 headset has been upgraded to a $300 headset that is quieter than any other stock headset in the world. Yes, 300% better than the Bose, and 100% better than an ANR equiped David Clark. For the new pilot, buy a solid headset such as this and upgrade it with Oregon Aero, in-ear plugs, or ANR as your budget and needs require. It will work fine in any Cessna or Piper, but you will need to upgrade it as I have to use it in a Pitts, Extra, etc.

Bad idea for adjustments
