It will not last a year by Bill from Columbus, OH
Pros: Small enough to fit in a RJ overhead Cons: Falls apart Review: The bottom is made of soft plastic and wears away if it scrapes the ground. The rivets and bottom will fall out within a year. I've talked to many other people who have the case and they have had the same experience.

Poor Construction by A Customer from
Review: I have had this bag for only six months as a RJ pilot and recently the bottom of the bag broke at the seams scattering the contents across the floor. I would not recommend this case.

Tight fit in the CRJ by A Customer from Bridgeton MO USA
Pros: Price, build quality, wrap around straps Cons: Larger than necessary exterior dimensions, hard to get into and out of the CRJ. Review: Seems well enough constructed. Latches are a little flimsy. Good storage; can hold a lot of stuff.

Nice bag and Awesome Customer Service! by Christopher Lee from Lubbock, Texas
Pros: Good bag. Cons: Ridgid construction so I wouldn't check it on a flight, best to carry on to that AC. Review: One day I had to check my bag for my commute. When I got to ORD I saw my bag being drop from the bag compartment of the A320. So I went down to the ramp to pick it up and to prevent it from going to baggage claim. I saw that the bottom was cracked because of the 10+ foot fall to the ground. I contacted Aerocoast and they just shipped me a brand new case. I just had to pay for the shipping and no questions asked. Even though there was not a flaw with their product they chose to take care of the issue. Hard to find a company nowadays that will do that. Great Customer Service

seriously poor quality by A Customer from Chicago
Pros: looks nice Cons: quality is horrendous on locks as well as cheap and brittle bottom of the case Review: My second flight case just split open along the bottom within 4 weeks! Same exact flaw as my first one. POOR QUALITY!

Best case for under 200 dollars and good for new regional pilots. by CRJ Driver from Chicago, IL
Pros: Looks very proffesional and sharp. Cons: Very ridgid construction so becareful checking your bag as luggage. Review: I currently fly the CRJ and this case fits fine. So I'm not sure about some of the previous reviews which are nonsense and incorrect. I was worried at first that it wouldn't fit but everything works fine.
It has great features for organizing your accessories unlike a lot of other cases.
Just set the strap on your roller-bag high enough so the flight case doesn't drag on the ground as you're walking around.
I guess like any product it all depends how you treat your things and that will determine how long it will last.
Happy flying

DO NOT BUY THIS FLIGHT CASE by CRJ 700/900 pilot from Cincinnati, OH
Pros: Love the handle and looks of the bag Cons: Completely unsuitable for regional pilot use. A waste of your money! Review: I highly recommend NOT to buy this flight case. My reasons:
1. It barely fits in the CRJ flight case bin. While you will have little trouble getting it into the space, getting it out is another issue. With its hard, nonflexible sides, the upper left corner catches on the plastic trim around the side windscreen where the fuselage begins to taper towards the nose. I wrenched my back trying to get the dang thing out!
2. The "piano" hinges only open 180 degrees vs 270 degrees like most other bags. This means that the lid must remain closed. You cannot fold it down beside the arm rest on the flight deck while it use. This means that sace used to open the top is wider than the space available.
3. The plastic guard on the bottom is cheap and brittle. I used my bag on ONE 3 day trip...5 total flights, 4 different airplanes, NO deadheads. In that time, the bottom split open along the side 2.5" at one end and 1" at the other. I seriously doubt this bag will last 2 months at normal, regional flying use. (A captain I met on the same day I returned after using this on ONE 3 day trip, showed me his after ONE month...bottom half ripped open!)
4. Bag is nothing more than one of the cheap cardboard bags with codura nylon glued to it. While it looks great new and in pics, it has ZERO durability. Any reputable pilot store should consider NOT offering this bag for sale until its quality issues have been resolved.

by Joshua from Streamwood, IL
Review: The bag fits great in the ERJ145. It is nice to find a bag with a hard plastic bottom that is still light weight. The saddle straps and piano hinge top make this bag a great choice. I wish the bag was about an inch taller so I could carry my DC headset in the bag and about 1/2 inch wider. With the amount of Jepps I have to carry, it is a bit of a squeeze. But overall, a great bag at a good price.

Best Bag for the price. by Robert from Chicago, IL
Pros: Rigid construction, very user friendly. Cons: Haven't found any yet. Review: I fly the CRJ 200, 700 and 900 and this bag fits in all of them fine. I have had no issues with the size, so I don't know why the other review says it doesn't fit. I assure you it will fit fine. My FO I was flying with had the Aerocoast Pro I and he had no issues with it either.
I love the bag with it's rigid construction. The organizers and pockets are very well thought of and very useful. Plus it looks very sharp and professional.
I would recommend this bag to anyone that doesn't want to pay 400 bucks for a flight case that will eventually get torn up anyway.

Good on the outside.... by A Customer from Euless TX USA
Pros: Durable, attractive Cons: Zipper Quality, Straps Fray, Can't put stickers on it Review: During my first trip with the bag one of the zippers on the top pouches came off. Other than that I haven't had any other problems with the back and it's certainly very durable (the exterior anyway) and fairly cheap compared to some of the other bags out on the market.

Don't waste your money by CRJ-900 FO from Memphis
Pros: The flap pockets are nice and the locks are sturdy Cons: Falls apart under normal regional use Review: I've had this case about 10 months and the ends are coming off and the accordion hinges are bending. The case looks tough, but its just Cordura looking fabric glued to cardboard. It's heavier than a regular flight case and the handle is difficult to cram into a regular J-hook. I'm a CRJ-900 FO, I fly around 80-90hrs a month and commute. This case also will not fit in the 900 case holder. Don't buy this case expecting it to last more than a year, buy it because its cheap and start saving for a good one.

Good bag but.... by A Customer from East Rockaway NY USA
Cons: Does not fit in spot for flight case in crj without modification Review: Decent bag. However does not fit in spot for flight case in CRJ due to 4 plastic corner protectors. No mention of this in any reviews. Requires 2 hrs of your time to make a trip to Home Depot.

Nice but won't fit in CRJ by A Customer from Ontario, Canada
Pros: Well built, sturdy bag that should last some years Cons: Won't fit in a CRJ!!! Review: I like the build of this bag, and it is not too heavy considering it's ruggedness. However, due to the protective cap at the bottom, it is just slightly too big to fit in a CRJ.

Very Satisfied by A Customer from Cleveland OH USA
Review: Great product for the price. It is more durable than the cheap office max chart case but only $60 bucks more. The handle is sewn into the side and will not pull off like the cheap knock-off chart cases will.

Very good quality.... by Marc from Buffalo NY USA
Pros: Solid and well built, priced well. Cons: Not too many inside compartments. Works for me, but might not work well for those who like to carry gadgets and such. Review: It definitely met my expectations. My biggest problems with other cases were the handles falling apart and wearing holes through the bottom of the flight case. This well crafted, stitched, and riveted flight cases takes care of all the security and wear problems.

Nice bag with some drawbacks by Matt from Celina TX USA
Pros: Sturdy and large with handy storage pockets Cons: heavy and poor quality handle snaps Review: I wanted a quality, sturdy bag that I wouldn't have to cram everything into. This bag exceeds those expectations. I like the extra storage pockets and the strong construction of this bag. It is not for the weak or infirm, however. Be careful not to tweak your back placing it next to your cockpit seat, because it is probably heavier than your current bag. I had one minor issue with my bag on the first trip. There is a leather wrap for the handle grip with two metal snaps to hold it together. One of the snaps broke so the grip won't stay closed as well with only one snap. I debated sending the bag back for repairs but my old bag was too poor to use again so I've just made do with the minor inconvenience. I would still recommend this bag, though.

Great flight bag for the money by Ace from Miami Springs FL USA
Pros: lightweight, sturdy handle. plenty of room. Great value for your money. Cons: Not leather Review: Good size, lightweight, sturdy, and with the strap it has as a handle. I expect it to last a long time. I have always had problems with flight bags with the typical luggage handle coming apart.

good bag for the money by David from Miami Beach FL USA
Pros: Good looking and tuff. I especially like the piano hinges. Cons: Narrow, and tight pockets if you carry a lot of material. Still looking for a home for the Mag flashlight. Review: Attractive and sturdy. It is narrow 2 Jepps and 2 manuals max. The large Mag light has to be laid on top of the books. If you carry a lot of stuff get it with a side pocket.
