Nice looking bag by Timothy from Redding CA USA
Pros: Fully-enclosed bottom Cons: Not stuff-able, not the best workmanship Review: Nice bag with some very nice attributes, eg. piano hinges, fully-enclosed bottom, 3-number combination locks. However, I've found some attributes I don't care for: workmanship seems lacking in a few areas (material covering the rigid box is not attached very well in places, one lock is not straight, zippers raw end exposed). Also, the box is SO rigid it is hard to stuff and therefore may require leaving some of your unnecessary items behind. The interior pockets are small and inflexible--can't be stuffed and don't hold much. I'd call it a wash between this and the "other" nylon bag.

Not the best choice by Robert from Pensacola FL USA
Pros: Good value, seems well built. Cons: Not user friendly, Appendages make it too bulky. Review: No problem with quality and construction of bag. The wheels attachment makes the bag too big to fit in RJ overhead bins and will not be used by 95% of pilots. The bags upper flaps only open to about 120 degrees rather than flat against the bag so you can't have the bag open by your side. Check the photo - that's it. I can tolerate it for the couple of years I have to go, but I would replace it if I had to use it any longer than that.

Great bag with detachable wheels! by Elbo from San Francisco, CA
Pros: Sturdy construction, very easy to handle Cons: Metal rod needs to be bent to stay in place Review: I have been lugging my bag around for a long time till the old flight bag finally broke. This bag has a few hidden qualities that are very helpful. The one that I noticed the most were those wheels. When I reached the airport i just put them on in two seconds. I was not bothered by having to attach it to my rollie only to detach it for security. Great bag for the money no problems.

by BP from Ohio
Pros: Pretty Tough Cons: May need modified Review: Not a bad case. If you're flying the CRJ, it will need modified. Both the wheel clips and the bottom corner protectors need to be removed.

Good so far by Charles from New Jersey USA
Pros: Construction, style Cons: A little too much plastic Review: Good product for the money. Sturdy and well built. Hopefully it will last 15 or so years (that's how long my last bag lasted)

Heavy, but wouldn't change any of the features! by AC from Wright City MO USA
Pros: Rugged, easy to organize Cons: Heavy, no saddle handles Review: I knew it would be heavy from the previous reviews. I commute on regional jets to and from work...so the flight case has to be gate-checked. It stands up to the abuse from the ramp personnel, unlike my previous flight cases (one fell apart on my first commute). I love the outside zipper for documents. I wish they made a model with the outside file pocket and the saddle handles...and it would be perfect. It was a toss up which was more important when making my purchase. Wish I could have had both.

A sturdy case that looks great. by A Customer from Aurora CO USA
Pros: Nice looking, well designed and constructed. Cons: It doesen't have Jepp deviders. Review: This case is heavy but worth it because it very well built. Dividers would have been nice to have. The actual width dimension at the bottom of the case is 8 1/2" not the 8" as stated which has been the biggest problem for me because the storage closet in my airplane is small, the extra 1/2" sometimes is too large to fit.

Would purchase the same again by A Customer from CYEG
Review: Good case for the money spent. My cases go through quite a bit of abuse, and this one seems tough enough to take it. I like the reinforced bottom, because it spends a lot of time being dragged through snow and slush.

Great Flightcase by James from Spokane WA USA
Pros: good construction, rugged, file pocket Cons: none Review: So far love the case. Good value for the money. Love the file folder that can be accessed from inside or outside. Love the reinforced base (i work in a rainy place), the height allows my headset to fit on top of my manuals. I've gotten lots of positive comments from fellow pilots about my bag.

Seems to do the trick! by Stevan from Cody WY USA
Pros: Size is ample enough to carry all I need, hard sides protect my gear. Cons: The bright gold "Aerocoast" logo on the sides of the bad are a bit too loud for my tastes-I might have to black them out with a marker. Anyone who buys a nylon case has no desire to put stickers on them in the first place. Review: I am a professional pilot, so I wasn't scared off by the claims of weight. I didn't find it overly heavy, and the rugged construction clearly will hold up over time. I did find it a bit larger then the case it replaced, which has made it difficult to store on flights, but I just tell the copilot to find another place to store his bag....just kidding! It was roomy enough to take all I want to take with me, and the hard sides will protect my personal computer. I particularly liked the pocket configuration.

Good Bang for the Buck by Scott from Kettering OH USA
Pros: Has actual locks instead of the cheap combo straps. Cons: Could use a place for shades Review: Has everything I was looking for in a nylon type flight case. Security locks and enough room for what I carry. Sturdy and still lightweight.
