Pilot's Cockpit & Emergency Light

See all your panel control settings, maps, charts, compass, and log books. Choose red light for night vision, or bright white light. Designed to travel anywhere, the Navigation Light can be clipped to most surfaces or used free-standing.

Features:

  • Four different light level options
  • Two red LEDs in one head and two white LEDs in a second allow for lighting versatility
  • Dual flexible arms provide infinite maneuverability
  • Sensor switches on each lighting head require just a tap to turn on one or both LEDs
  • Optical grade lens provides evenly distributed light with no hot spots
  • Easily bends to compact position for storage
  • Offers 20 hours of continuous use on 3 AAA batteries
  • Extra strong clip grips almost anything
  • Uses 3 AAA batteries (included)

Designed by a pilot who has been flying for 55 years, it looks like NO flashlight that you've ever seen; the base, which also houses three triple 'A' batteries (about 3"X1.5" & 3/4" thick) has two flexible necks that extend outward about 10" and can be manipulated in any direction.

At the end of each of the flexible necks are two Super LED lights in each head. One head is a clear lens the other is Red to help preserve your night vision.

Each of the two heads provides the lighting power of 6 normal LED's. You have the option of using one or two of the Super LED lights on either or both heads with just a simple tap to the sensor switch.

It's an ideal emergency light for power out situations at night. The LED's are rated at 100,000 hours and the light will operate continuously on one set of batteries for twenty hours.

A strong spring clip (opens about 1.5" with a cushioned anti-slip pad) on the back of the base allows the light to be clipped to the glare shield, yoke, approach plate clip, sun visor or to the pilot’s garments.

Excellent light.
by Kathy from St George UT USA

Review: Exactly what we were looking for in an emergency light for the cockpit. Bright enough when you need it, softer light when needed.

Excellent panel light
by Ed from Old Hickory TN USA

Pros: Good coverage from both red and white lights...
Cons: Clipping securely in place is a something of challenge...
Review: Interior lighting in most 4 place GA aircraft is usually somewhere between bad and terrible... I clipped this light above the panel of my Piper Warrior and was absolutely amazed at how well it illuminated the gauges... Flexible necks are very useful/handy... Can wash the panel with red light during flight and the kneeboard with white during preflight... Excellent add-on for small plane night flying...

dont be fooled....
by Hiflyer from ca

Review: I have to give a 3 star rating but only because they have a policy. Beware if you buy here there is a 30 day return policy. If the item malfunctions after 30 days, they [ask you to go to the manufacturer to get it replaced under the manufacturer provided warranty]. Check before you buy. There is a silver lining, I checked with the manufacture and they are replaceing the item.... :)

Review: The On/Off switch is very sensitive and it is always turning itself On in my bag. It works, but would it work the time I need it, or are the batteries going to be dead b/c it's probably been on since we took off? I would not recommend.

Goes on every flight from now on.
by A Customer from Riverside CA USA

Pros: Great tool, useful and compact.
Cons: None so far.
Review: It works as claimed. The red light saves eyesight, and the necks are flexible enough to direct the lights where you want them.

Great little lite
by Michael Stout from Forest Falls CA USA

Pros: Works as advertised and great price
Cons: A car charger is needed
Review: This is one of the best products I have purchased in a long time and performes as advertised. I gave it 4 stars only because there is always room for improvement I am just not sure what that is right now. I recommend it and adding the charger makes it great for my home desk too.

Review: Great light for reading sectionals at night. I would buy it again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the switches on the top of each light seem a little weak. I hope they don't break or get stuck but only time will tell.

Great for cockpit or car
by Jeffrey from Independence MO USA

Cons: no way to save on batteries
Review: Met all of my expectations. Use it in more locations, than it was intended for. Just wish it had an adapter for a cigarette lighter
