Great watch not impressed with quality of leather strap

Pros: Visibility of three dials ease of setting everything quickly and handsome appearance of watch.
Cons: leather strap on this watch was not well made or inspected.
Review: This is a really sharp looking andhandy watch as we are either traveling to or on the phone with our foreign posts. The watch is six months old. No issues with the time-piece proper. Yesterday, the end portion of the leather strap which attaches to the strap pins on the watch unfurled and the watch fell on the floor. I am a desk jockey so it has not exactly had any severe duty. On inspection the sewing on the strap did not engage this crucial loop and there was precious little leather on the flap to engae or to effect a repair with C.glue. An extra 1/4 inch of leather and a couple of stitches would have prevented this so thumbs down on the leather strap. No QC /QA on this strap as far as I am concerned. Stiching on strap has come loose near the buckle so I would recommend buyers choose the Black Poly-u or stainless steel strap. Just trying to source one now days before a trip.

Looks even better in real life than the photos

Review: This is a great watch! I bought it for flying, but use it every day now - the main dial is set to PST while the Destination is set to UK time as I deal with the UK regularly. The face is large, but I have small wrists & it fits fine and is comfortable. I have a couple of other multi time zone watches but none are as clear to read as this one - or as easy to set new times on all 3 dials, they are entirely independent, and can be used for any purpose (i.e. the GMT one doesn't have to be used for GMT when not flying)

Review: If you like the look of the watch, you will like to own it. I personally purchased it because it was simple (no gaudy bezel that will NEVER get used) and does what I need - it keeps time in several zones.
The only drawback: the Crystal is relatively easily scratched. I dont know if there are different hardnesses of crystal, so I cant say if this problem is unique to this watch. What I can say is i dont wear the watch unless i am flying, i think it would get trashed in everyday use.
