Worked fine for intended purpose. by William from Saint Charles MO USA
Pros: Easily put together and works great. Cons: A little pricey due to the components required to make a functioning device. Review: This charger required an adapter and a charger connector board to make it support my radio. It was easy to put together and works fine.

On Monday, July 18, 2011 a customer asked:
Q: I just purchased an I icom A-14. I have a BC-119N charger and BC-145A AC adapter. Will this charger work with the A-14 with the addition of the proper cup? It needs an AD-106 cup (the charger now has an AD-89 cup). Can I purchase a 12 volt charger that will work with the BC-119L/AD-106 for this radio?
A:
Yes, if you already own the Icom IC-A14 transceiver (either the IC-A14 or the IC-A14S) and you already own the BC-119N, then all you need is the AD-106 charging cup. You would need to remove the AD-89 cup that is already in there and replace it with the AD-106 and then use the same wall charger that was supplied with the IC-A14. You can review a diagram of how this works by checking page 30-31 of the IC-A14 manual.
