Best I've found; but needs "no iron" aspect by David from La Jolla CA USA
Pros: Amply girth, arms are long enough. Cons: not really "no iron" Review: Finally, a "tall" shirt that's also ample in the belly . . . to accommodate my ( umm . . ) professional girth. Could use a "no iron" finish and could be a little heavier. Ideally, if it matched the Fredericks "no iron" shirt (the one with the button-down collar ), but had your pilot's pockets and epaulet-style, it would be perfect. I've ASKED Frederick's to match your style, but they won't. So, I keep buying from you.

Excellent quality! by August from Huntington Beach CA USA
Pros: The Oxford look is definitely a great look. Very crisp and professional. Cons: The collar. It needs improvement!!. Review: Very Comfortable; the collar tends to stick up a bit sometimes in the cockpit while reaching for one of the overhead switches. A bit loose on the sides. I wish it felt more fitted.

Pros: Excellent fabric Cons: A little baggy but I am slim at 6'2" Review: The best shirt I have owned (19 years). Quality that you would expect in your own personal shirts. Excellent quality with a very durable fabric. I bought 6 shirts.

More than I was expecting. by John from Nevada City CA USA
Pros: First Class Cons: None Review: I was shopping around for uniform shirts for our Marine Corps League Detachment. The shirts will be worn during Color Guards, funeral services, formal functions, and parades. The fist time I wore the shirt was for the Installation of New Officers. What I wasn't expecting was a military grade uniform shirt. Everything about these shirts are first class.

Highest quality found to date (22 years of flying) by andrew from north hampton NH USA
Review: I would prefer a version with one pocket and no flaps. Also a little more tapering in the waist would make it perfect

Finally found the PERFECT shirt by Bobby from Spokane WA USA
Pros: see description Cons: No cons that I can find Review: More expensive than a Van Heusen Commander but well worth the extra bucks. Price should not be a determining factor for this shirt. I found that it is very much worth the extra bucks compared to the van heusen. Shirt is WHITE. Not some off shade of white like my van heusen. It is a true bright white. The fit was perfect. Between a fitted cut and a regular cut. Not a lot of excess fabric around the middle and not binding in any way. I wear a 17.5 neck with 34/35 sleeve. I am a size 46 chest and 40 across my bellybutton. By comparison, the same size shirt in my van heusen resulted in a lot of excess fabric at the waist and required tailoring. Great quality stitching. Re-enforced button holes. (button holes on my van heusen raveled) Buttons sewn on with heavy stitching. Two buttons on the cuffs for easy adjustment. Heavy collar stays in position. Epaulets are straight and on top of the shoulder. It sounds odd to point this out but my van heusen commander had the epaulets slightly forward of the top of the shoulder requiring a tailor to relocate them and place them straight and on top. I am very happy with the AP Elite Pilot shirt. It is an absolutely perfect quality shirt!

Best of poor selection out there. by A Customer from Birmingham AL USA
Review: Let's face it. Pilot shirts aren't the classiest shirts available. But among the choices out there, this one's the best. Better material than most. Cut well. Main problem: collar needs stiffening - tends to bend instead of staying in place.

I would buy this shirt again. by R. Wayne from Spring TX USA
Pros: As nice as an expensive dress shirt. Cons: None Review: I really like this shirt. It is well made, is a great fabric, looks good, and worth the extra money. You will not want a cheaper shirt after you wear this one!

Great Dress Shirt by Mark from Ipswich MA USA
Pros: Comfortable and looks great Cons: can wrinkle a little Review: This shirt feels like a high end dress shirt. Very comfortable first time and gets better the more often it is washed. I wash it and has a few wrinkles but not bad.

great for tall guys; collar flips up by A Customer from La Jolla CA USA
Pros: trim, long shirttail, good long sleeves and wrinkle-free Cons: collar points flip up at inopportune moments Review: This shirt stayed trim and fit over a twenty-six hour trip from Brussels to La Jolla. Long-sleeves were really long-sleeves, even tho' the "size" was 36/37 . Usually, that means the sleeves are on the short side of 36. A drawback: the collar points flip up when one isn't aware they're flipping up. They only rise above the shirt about an inch, but that constantly occurs. Solution: put heavier curled plastic tabs into the shirt-collar points to keep the collar points pointed down --- or make this same shirt in a button-down model. THAT shirt I'd buy !!

A shirt worth purchasing by Robert Hartle Pilot for C.F.M. In Smyrna, TN from Nashville area of TN USA
Pros: Material Thickness, Brite Clean White Look....Just Sharp! Sizing seems to be accurate and comfortable Cons: Maybe just a little more material than needed. Arms sleeves on the long sleeves I bought are more generous than really needed, but not a show stopper at all. Review: For years as a pilot in a charter operation I have purchased the Van Heusen pilot shirts until recently. I took a chance on the AP Elite Pilot Shirt in the long sleeve style. Loved it! The material is heavier and has less tendency to be "transparent" and show your undershirt. It is a brite white material that when next to my Van Heusen shirts really shows the difference. If you want a recommendation for a shirt, this would be the one to purchase. I will be purchasing additional shirts to phase out the Van Heusen collection that I have. Enjoy!

Review: The AP shirts arrived today. I found them to be More, not less, tapered than the Van Heusen Commanders. Your ad states "This is a generous, full-cut shirt that will easily accommodate larger torso. For average or smaller frames, we recommend buying a half size less or consider the Van Heusen pilot shirts which are slightly more tapered. Tie and epaulets sold separate." This statement doesn't ring true as they are much tighter than the VH.

Best Shirt I've ever purchased by James from Chesapeake City MD USA
Pros: Nicer material, more like a fine dress shirt. Cons: Cost Review: I've tried many shirts in my 25 year airline career. Although the AP Elite cost a little more, it is by far the best made and best wearing shirt I've owned.

great stuff by A Customer from CA 91343
Pros: nice thread Cons: hand cuffs too wide and the material is too transparent Review: I use it as dress shirt at work. I work in a corparation as manager and like the epaullets.
