Pros: heavy duty, separate switches, good quality
Cons: I wish it had some way of attaching a lanyard or wrist strap
Review: I'm an amateur astronomer and bought the Galaxy 28 because it provides both red light for night vision, and a very bright white light for general use (packing up, checking the brush for wild animals, etc.). So far I have been very pleased with the quality and performance. The separate switch for the white light was a must feature.

Review: Great flashlight, long lasting general purpose white light with separate on/off switch. It is great having a green option for reading at night and well as a general purpose red light for night movement. Would be prefect if: 1) Lights were mutually exclusive (i.e., cannot turn on both white and green, or white and red at same time); 2) If you are using the red light, and turn it off---you must remember to cover the flashlight to avoid being blinded by the need to cycle past the green light; 3) Switched to C123 Li batteries; 4) nervous about the push button failure.

Pros: plenty of light for all needs. 20 white, 4 red, 4 green led's. 2 buttons, one for red/green, one for white.
Cons: colored led's may be a little bright for super small cockpit users.
Review: It's a great light with more than enough light for all needs of night flight. 20 bright white leds work great for night pre-flight operations while the 4 red and 4 green leds work great for looking at charts and around the cockpit. Though the 8 colored led's are slightly brighter than I prefer for my small Cessna 152. I wouldn't trade it for anything!

It is exactly what I wanted

Review: I read the reviews and found this product to be of excellent quality with everything I need for night flying. It didn't come with a way to hang it around my neck. I had a lanyard at home, to which I attached an O ring on the end. The wrist band, attached to the flashlight, goes through the O ring and the lanyard hangs around my neck.

Review: Bright and clear, with one button for white light and one button that toggles between red and green light. Exceptional lighting power in a nice, compact size flashlight. Build like a tank

Pros: Almost indestructible, Different switches for white and red/green light.

Review: This light exceeded my expectations by far. It is very well constructed and should last a life time. There are two different on/off switches. One for the white light and one for the red and green. The chances of effecting your night vision by inadvertently switching on the white light is therefore reduced. The white, red and green lights are very bright and allows you to see clearly by day and night.
