For a real pilot, it leaves a lot to be desired in realism & validity by A Customer from San Antonio TX USA
Pros: Allows a meaure of procedures training and cross county stick and rudder actions. Cons: Don't try to use it for landings or aerobatic maneuvers. Review: The canned senerios with specific type aircraft don't have the feel or reponse of the real aircraft. I own and fly a Piper Cub, doesn't fly much like the X. I am using Saitek yoke, throttle, and rudder pedals. Responses times to control inputs lack any sense of realism. I also own three other aircraft, one is also included with low level of validity in flight control response. The other two are not modeled in your X data base. Earlier, I purchased the up grade version of X and it required too much computer capacity for any of my three computers. I gave it to my son for his game equipment.

Good, but resource hungry by Matt. Symphony 160 Pilot from Oregon
Pros: Great fun, and fairly accurate simulation. Missions are fun. Cons: Hard to get it to run at high detail consistently. Review: It's a lot of fun, and by far the best looking flight sim out there. But it has some hiccups. It seems very finicky as to which hardware it works and doesn't work with. Most important is the memory of your video card. It almost has to have at least 512 MB unless you want to extremely dumb down the detail.

flying blind by KDUB from Tulsa OK USA
Pros: fun if it works Cons: It probably won't work Review: This product doesn't work with the video card that the box indicates. The video card requirements are incorrect. You have to have a top of the line video card to run software. Don't bother wiht this product. I would definately not buy this product If I had a second chance.

Review: I'm not happy with it, especially in combo with the Saitek flight yoke and throttle set. At first, I couldn't fly a straight line, especially on final approach, doing "lazy eights down the glideslope", so I added a set of rudder pedals, but that didn't help very much. The biggest problem is the screen either shows the runway (on takeoff and landing) or the instrument panel - I haven't figured out how to set it up to be able to see both.
