So far so Good
by Tom from Houston TX USA

Review: Have only been able to use them once so far with all the holidays. Was plesently supprised. Of course last headsets I used consistantly was a borrowed pair of Bose, which I understand are the best. So really can not make a comparison as have only owned the Softcom. So far so good, I really like them.

I'm impressed.
by Thomas from Orting WA USA

Pros: Good noise reduction and cost
Cons: slight humming noise when activated. The battery line could be a little longer.
Review: Never having an ANR headset before, it was quite amazing to hear, or not hear the difference. My wife and I are happy with the C-200. There is a slight humming noise even when activated, however, it is tolerable, considering what the headset is blocking out. I have no regrets. For the price, well worth it.

Need electric/electronic background
by A Customer from calgary Canada

Pros: noice reduction and cancel are good.
Cons: no manual and diagram (even in/out put diagran)
Review: The product has no problem at all. Except no manual and circuit diagram . which I try to connect to handheld radio of difference brand. Either the receiver in trouble or transmiter is in trouble.  Finally I find one handheld radio it work, if I add an 8ohm in series with the reciver then they work fine on both transmit and receive. Have a nice flight to you all.

Good but not great
by Jeff from St. Paul MN USA

Pros: Good value
Cons: Small amount of noise leakage
Review: The softcom headset was a very good buy for us. Used it for 30 hour trip over a week period. Actually pretty comfortable until the end of the day. The extra cord for the ANR battery pack was a little cumbersum. Good ANR quality with just a little noise leakage wearing sunglasses.

Low price + low noise = high level of satisfaction
by Buzz in Texas from Big Sandy, Texas

Pros: Lightweight, low cost, comfortable, good looking
Cons: Only con is the battery box and I knew that when I bought it.
Review: I have used my headset for a year now and am quite pleased. The gel ear seals are very comfortable and the ANR works well. The battery box used to get turned on inadvertantly and run the batteries down prematurely, but I remedied the problem by securing the box to the headset. The power cord no longer gets in the way and the battery box switch isn't getting knocked into the "on" position anymore. The carrying case is convenient also. I did not expect to get Bose quality and convenience for the price. However, I am very satisfied with the bang for the buck!

I would buy this again
by Jack from Henderson NV USA

Pros: Comfortable fit
Review: I liked this headset better than the previous headset I owned. The noise level is lower than the passive headset I owned. I also like the ear gel included on the headsets.

Great comfort and sound
by Doug from New York NY USA

Pros: Cost, comfort, control, features
Cons: Battery case
Review: Love the features and sound quality. Would like to do away with the extra battery box. I know the next model up removes it but that would cost an extra $100. Not worth the extra $$$. Other than that great product and worth the money. Highly recommend.

Pros: HIGH Quality LOW Price!
Cons: Yet to find any
Review: I love this headset! You can't be beat it for the money. The ANR box does become disconnected easily, however, I found that wearing it on my belt solved the problem. The factory battery lasted <10 minutes. I changed it out and have logged about 10 hours of flight with them and have yet to see any problems. In my opinion, ANR is the only way to go,and for the money the Softcomm C-200 cannot be beat!

My ears are much happier!
by Pilot formerly known as Speed from Washington DC

Pros: Good ANR for the price.
Cons: Don't like the seperate battery box. The cord comes uplugged from it too easily. Folks complain they can't understand me when I use my cell phone...maybe due to engine noise
Review: I used to fly with David Clarks ANR (gov't issue). I think these work as well, and only cost half the price. Even my IPOD sounds good through them.

Cons: None i can think of.
Review: The set is great. I wasn't too sure at first. But after wearing them and hearing the clearity..i was very impressed.

I"m a student pilot and have worn several different head set. This is by far the best
