breakthrough in comfort and noise attenuation. For example, the new adjustable
six pillow, soft foam head pads are designed to conform to head contours and
eliminate "hot spots" on extra long flights.
The Super Soft Foam filled ear seals are made to surround the ears with quiet
comfort. This blocks noise interference and provides the optimum comfort in a
"no-squeeze" fit for hours of use. With a Noise Reduction Rating of -23dB, a
quiet flight is assured. The Silver Fox has dual volume controls and Stereo/Mono
switching. An improved solid state Electret M-55 Condenser Microphone
offers the finest in audio clarity and noise canceling properties. Likewise,
these noise canceling microphones are capable of rejecting most outside noise
and, at the same time, provide clear, crisp voice transmission. The six-way
adjustable "friction boom" allows for precision placement of the microphone, and
can be positioned on either side of the mouth.
The long, heavy duty cable assemblies are made to withstand strains up to 95
pounds and retain their flexibility from -40° to +120°F. Attached to the cables
are gold plated plugs which are designed to eliminate connector static.
SoftComm's "Pride-of-Workmanship" and "Made in the U.S.A." plus a three-year
warranty make this headset an excellent value.

Great product and value for money! by Jonathan from Tempe AZ USA
Pros: Clarity in hearing, light weight, highly recommended. Cons: Nothing. Maybe make it wireless? Review: I am a student pilot, and this is my first headset. I didn't know what kind to go with for my first time, and I tried this out at a local pilot shop when seeking a new one. I really liked the soft ear pieces, and excellent noise cancellation that the headset provides. I can hear my instructor, and also the radio very clearly, without any static or drop in volume. It has great volume control for both sides, and even mono if desired. Its a very durable headset, and the perfect price for someone not looking into spending a fortune for their first one. Also, this is supporting my local business since this company is based in the PHX area! I wish they had a local store to view and try all their products though. You will not regret buying it, the functionality it offers for the price is excellent in comparison to the other over priced David Clark headsets. If you want a brand name headset, then go with something else, but this will do you just as good or even better, and wont set you back $500 or more. Plus it offers a 5yr warranty if damaged (not due to negligence); no questions asked!

Price right for what you get by Michael from Humble tx USA
Pros: Great Factory warranty service Review: Use this brand of headsets for the intercom for passengers and radio communication in our aircraft for several years. Never had a problem communicating but had some problems with hearing/boom mic. Decided to replace 2 headsets with 2 new ones. Decided to send the 2 broke headsets back to company. They were under warranty and repaired them to " new" condition. Very happy with company.

Nice headset by A Customer from Kingwood TX USA
Pros: Price. Comfortable. Mono/Stereo Cons: Need screwdriver to adjust tension on mic boom. Review: Nice headset for an affordable price. Sounds good and has volume control on each each. Also mono/stereo. The only negative - you need a screwdriver to adjust tension on the mic boom arm. I'd rather have a small knob to adjust the tension.

Don't let the price fool you!! by Cherokeepilot from Port Lavaca, tx
Pros: Lightweight, cost, service Cons: Price. Cheap price tends to scare people away. They think they're low quality Review: Great lightweight headset for the price. Nothing like the ANR sets that are out there but for the price you can't beat the quality and service from Softcomm. I had a set that was left in a plane that I just purchased. Well left side speaker was blown. I sent them back and they sent me practically a new set. The replaced all the parts so basically they sent me a new set. I have several of the higher priced headsets and my wife seems to like this set better than a 400 dollar set that we have. It's really light weight. Good luck in your search.
