Gee-Bee Squadron Mobile

Seemingly designed by Disney cartoonists, the Gee-Bees won the 1932 national air races.  With names like Wasp Jr. and Bumblebee, they featured huge 550 HP engines and did not have any wing flaps.  At the time they were both serious and popular, they now look almost comical, and have become a beloved icon from the 1930s flight history.

Four Gee-Bee planes are shown in dare devil flight...dipping, swirling, upside down - just like the originals!  Lightweight and easy to hang, they are a perfect gift for the young and the young at heart.

Measures 20.75" x 7" x 30.25" (53 x 18 x 77 cm).  Gift packaged.

Pros: the colors and the shapes--very well made.
Cons: none!!
Review: I totally loved this little mobil. My greatgrandson who loves airplanes thinks it is the greatst thing ever--he love to watch it move with the air from the fan. I would most certainly purchase it again--oh yes, his mom and dad loves it also. I'm still lookein for the plane table lamp with the cloud.

Pros: Awesome likeness of the real Gee Bee and they have not gotten tangled up once!
Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about it.
Review: This is just an absolutely awesome addition to my computer room and everyone who sees it cannot get enough of it! The only way it could be better would be if you hung two of these mobiles close together to make more planes on the go!!! If you like the Gee Bee at all, you owe it to yourself to own at least one of these mobiles. They also work great out on the porch to float around in the breeze!

Pros: well made
Cons: nothing
Review: I have given this mobile to two baby boys in different families and they love it cause it is so unique and not so babyish and they can still have it in their room as they get to be older and cooler.

Very pleased
by A Customer from TX USA

Review: I ordered this for my son's nursery and am very pleased with it. A few pieces had fallen off during shipping but were easily glued back on. The planes are all made of wood and are light enough to be in slow constant motion. The colors are great and mounting it on the ceiling was a snap.

Perfect mobile for toddler room
by A Customer from Olathe KS USA

Pros: Ready to hang right out of the box. Fast shipping
Review: The mobile is perfect for my son's "Big Boy" room. We chose airplanes as the theme and wanted to have a mobile of some sort. The Gee-Bee planes are so bright and colorful and almost cartoon-like...but the mobile is definitely more grown-up than a baby mobile. He loves watching the planes as he goes to sleep. We'll keep it for the study when he changes room themes.
