Gee-Bee Squadron Mobile
Seemingly designed by Disney cartoonists, the Gee-Bees won the 1932 national air races. With names like Wasp Jr. and Bumblebee, they featured huge 550 HP engines and did not have any wing flaps. At the time they were both serious and popular, they now look almost comical, and have become a beloved icon from the 1930s flight history. Four Gee-Bee planes are shown in dare devil flight...dipping, swirling, upside down - just like the originals! Lightweight and easy to hang, they are a perfect gift for the young and the young at heart. Measures 20.75" x 7" x 30.25" (53 x 18 x 77 cm). Gift packaged.
