Gleim Pilot Refresher Course
Gleim's Pilot Refresher Course (PRC) weight and balance and performance charts are a make-and-model specific recurrent ground training course designed to increase pilots' safety, knowledge, and abilities. This course is a structured, interactive, self-study review and certificate program delivered via the Internet.
PRC will help prepare you for your flight review (formerly referred to as a biennial or BFR). In addition, completion of this course meets the FAA's criteria for attendance at a "safety meeting," one of the requirements for completion of a phase of the FAA's Pilot Proficiency Award Program (commonly referred to as the Wings Program).
At the completion of the course, you will receive three certificates:
Gleim's PRC is divided into eight lessons. Each lesson focuses on increasing pilot proficiency through knowledge of regulations, recommended operating procedures, aircraft performance and limitations, etc. The average completion time is 30 - 60 minutes per lesson.
