Very Durable

Review: My ex-wife threw my watch, full force, from about 10 feet, against the bedroom wall at least 15 times. The gypsum board had dents and the watch even completely penetrated with one hole. There was even a dent in the poplar moulding.
The watch still keeps accurate time and looks like new.

Extremely Tough Watch...2nd to None!

Review: Deployed Iraq, watch sees extreme heat, water and diesel fuel daily. I'm constantly stricking the crystal and to date not a scratch. Truly a wonderful timepiece!

My new Torgen T5 Zulu watch

Review: It is worth every nickle. A great wrist watch. Now I can use it to find approximate south by pointing the 24 hr hand at the sun and then the 12 hundred hour mark points approximatly south. Also with the 24 hr hand set to Zulu I can tell longitude when the sun is due south by a simple calculation knowing that each hour past Zulu time at high noon represents 15 degrees longitude. That along with my new Brunton 8099 compass that has an inclinator I can establish approximate longitude and latitude. Perhaps I will never need to use it for that, but I am glad I have it. My only surprise was how big and heavy it is, but I consider it a prized possession. I am very satisfied. I spent my Christmas money on the watch and compass and I am very pleased with my investments. Joseph

Solid watch, but not perfect...

Cons: Travel related time adjustments are more complicated than need be.
Review: Good, solid watch with second (24 hr) hour hand for 2nd time zone. Nice finish. Looks good. Complaints I have: Zulu hand moves along with the normal hour hand when you adjust the watch to a new time zone meaning you have to return the Zulu hand to UTC after every time zone change. And the zulu hand seems to creep out of synch over time. E.g., I had it set correctly a few days ago, now it reads dead on 1900 hrs even though it's 20 minutes past the hour.

Built like a tank

Cons: Calendar and Zulu time setting requires a gentle and precise touch.
Review: My T-5 feels solid on my wrist -- keeps perfect time -- and it proves Phil Boyer's axiom that "You can really tell who's a pilot by the size of his watch." My only complaint is the sensitivity of the stem when setting the calendar.

Great Watch!

Review: I bought this watch for my soon to be husband for Christmas. He loved it! The face looks big but you get used to it. He like the zulu time and found it to be accurate. He also found the leather wrist band to be very comfortable.

Review: Very nice watch. I wish i could have tried on with metal bracelet. However The zulu hand does "lose" time. After I set the zulu hand to correspond with the hour, the next hour the zulu hand had lost time. Over all nice watch!

Review: I read the other reviews and take mine off if doing something that would easily scratch the crystal. I have small wrists and had to add a new hole to make it fit and feel right. I do love having the zulu time hand on the watch. I wish I could have tried a braclet type on to see if I liked that style better. I did contact the company about a braclet replacement band but have not heard back yet!

Cons: Resetting zulu time after changing the main dial
Review: The T5 has simple, clean lines and details. It is easy to read and comfortable to wear. The 24hr dual/zulu time feature is exactly what I wanted. Good quality strap and materials. The only negative thing I would say is that you have to be careful when adjusting the watch after changing timezones because the zulu time changes too, so you have to reset it.

Review: This watch has good looks, nice heavy feel, and has been kept accurate time. Setting the time, and date and second time zone is a cinch. Only complaint is the large crystal face will scratch if not careful.

Pros: Quality construction
Review: Great watch, especially if you are intersted in keeping track of Zulu Time scale. I utilize this watch everyday in my job, having to be aware at all times of Zulu time, this watch allows a quick glance to identify the time. Extremely good construction and very nice looking.
