Didn't work.
by Brad from

Pros: None.
Review: Product is good in concept, poor in execution. In short, it simply did not work. Not only did it not push the music from my mp3 player into my headset, it completely prohibited me from transmitting as well.

Not worth the money at all!!
by Jeremy from Casper WY USA

Pros: NONE!
Cons: Doesn't work at all for what it is designed for!!!
Review: I thought that this would be a great problem solving solution to wearing an ear bud under my helmet but it was not. First off when you key the ICS system it back feeds and causes a horrific squeal in everyone's helmet/headset which is VERY loud and uncomfortable. Second when you are just listening to the music the volume is so low that you cannot hear it at all even with you Ipod at the highest possible volume setting.

Poor Product
by Dylan from Canada

Pros: none
Cons: they don't work
Review: I bought 3 of these things for me and two other pilots in our company. None of us were at all satisfied. I would have returned them if I had kept my reciept and packaging. The problem was you could not hear any music or just barely even with youe ipod on full and your heaset turned up full. We tested them in 3 different Bell helicopters all with the same result.

Pros: you can listen to music
Cons: Significant loss of Both ATC and iPod sound. Music plays through entire COMM system
Review: I bought this product to make long cross countries and photo flights a pep-up. The First thing I noticed is that the cords to connect are way too long. The whole setup is 3ft+. I connected the adapter without the radios on and noticed my MP3 player still played through the headset. I had my co-pilot in and He could hear the same music I was playing, making it impossible for us to play what we individually wanted to hear.

I noticed that there was a significant loss in sound both from ATC and my iPod. So I had to turn them up all the way. I still do not know if this product transmits my music while communicating with ATC

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Weak, plays thru on radio calls.
Review: I received this as a birthday present. I used it on a top of the line MP3, but could barely hear anything. That was actually a good thing because it doesn't cut out when radio calls are made. Its worth spending the extra money to get a more powerfull one that cuts out during radio calls.Thankfully MyPilotStore has such a good return policy.
