Just what I needed.

Review: Received this as a gift. It's perfect for holding my DC headset, knee board, log book and a couple of pens and a flashlight. The bottom has some rubber material that keeps it off the ground and standing upright.

Simple and Effective

Cons: rubber feet on bottom don't keep it standing up, tips over usually
Review: Works well, wish it had more pockets though. I am able to put my 10.14's, foggles, and sunglasses in the main pouch.  Then logbook and important paperwork in the zipper pouch. I put e6b, plotter, nav logs and charts in the open slip pocket. It works well but will be needing an upgraded one soon.

Review: Nice bag - only issue I have with it is that I need to take the cable off of my David Clark H10-60s for them to fully fit properly. If I leave the cable on - it makes a sharp bend at the base of the plug, and I worry it might eventually wear out the cable.

You'd think the David Clark Headset Bag would fit ALL of the David Clark Headsets...

good simple product

Pros: room for everything I need for a basic VFR flight
Cons: would be nice if main compartment were slightly taller
Review: Nice and simple and works well for uncomplicated VFR flying. Besides the headset, I'm able to put my sunglass case in the large compartment, a headlamp and small items in the side compartment, and a chart, AFD, and my kneeboard/checklist in the side pocket. Would be nice if it were about an inch taller so an iPad would fit alongside the headset in the main compartment.

Perfect fit!

Review: It fits my headset and my hard Serengeti sunglasses case inside, and there's a pocket on the back that's perfect for my logbook. On the front, there are pockets that fit my reading glasses and a pen, plus a zippered pocket that is currently empty. Don't even think about it, just get it. It's a great way to protect your investment.

H10-60 cord

Review: I just got it, and like the two other people here that posted about the cord on their H10-60 headset, it doesn't fit 100% unless you get it just right. Simple solution is to take the cord off and store it either in the front pocket, or in with the headset, but detached. It smells kinda funky - but that's the manufacturing process I imagine. It looks like it has a LOT of room for whatever I might need. Checklist, logbook, sunglasses case, etc

A good bag

Pros: handy pocketf for those things we all cary.
Review: The large rear slip-in pocket fits charts or an iPad well with the front pockets and pencil holders good for smaller gear such as spare batteries for the active noise cancellation circuitry. I am, however, somewhat that the welting and stitching may be a bit delicate and wear quickly.

Overall, a good bag for the money.

Nice if no flight bag

Review: This carrying case is nice if you do not use a flight bag. I have a flight bag on every flight and the headset could just go in the flight bag's headset compartment. However, I choose to put the headset in this headset case and THEN into the flight bag. Double protection, yes, but neccesary? Probably not since I'm not throwing my bag around and plus, it's yet another zipper to unzip/zip back up! Would recommend if you don't use a flight bag!

A very well-designed headset bag

Review: Simply a great bag-- plenty of room inside for any headset, and the exterior pockets and compartments (front and back) are spacious enough for my logbook, charts and a candy bar or two. The front zippered pocket is especially nice because it is designed so that even when filled up it does not take space away from the main headset compartment. My ONLY comment is that when I received this bag, the polished metal David Clark logo plate was attached upside down on the bag-- but once I figured out how it was attached, I was able to remove it, flip it over, and re-attach it with no problem (just a simply brad-like device on the back side). Just one of those little things that happen sometimes, but no big deal.

Great bag, just not big enough for me

Best for student pilot or short flights

Review: I'm a student pilot and was looking for something real small. Some of my pilot friends haul around giant duffel looking bags and I didn't want that for short flights so I bought this and am very happy with it.

Room to fit small log book and POH in front pocket.
Has room for pens and pencils in the very front.
Back pocket is big enough to hold a chart or two and checklist and fuel tester without being too crammed.

However with that said, I am now looking for a bigger flight bag for my cross country flights. I didn't like the idea of having to cram books, charts, plotters and E6B's in my trifold AND this little bag.

I highly recommend this bag!

Review: Has a handle as well as a strap, although the clasp holding the strap has popped out a couple of times already. I most likely bumped it wrong but I'm keeping an eye on it. One of the things I like most about it is that the David Clark logo is inconspicuous. Padding for the headset compartment is minimal but I'm not planning on using it as a seat cushion.

Great Headset Bag

Review: A lightweight bag made from very durable construction! Perfectly fits log book, A/FD, charts, kneeboard, and of course, David Clark headset and still room to spare. VFR kneeboard sticks out of the top, but does not get in the way. I am a student pilot and this bag fits my needs perfectly. Headsets fit right in, just tuck the cord plug into the corner and it's snug. This bag will get many hours of use from me.

Quality Product...

Review: I have been using my 'David Clark Headset Bag' for about a month now, and flown somewhere around 15hrs in that time. The main portion of the bag is obviously devoted to the headset storage, and it is plenty large enough to fit my H10-60 in there. The only problem, if you want to call it a problem, with the main pouch is that I have to position the headset just so, or the wire leading out of the ear is bent sharply after leaving the more rigid piece that makes up the first 2" of the wiring. That makes me nervous that it will eventually cause a problem being bent so sharply. The bag comes with a shoulder strap, and a secondary pouch perfectly sized for a logbook, sectionals, etc. There are also open pouches on the outside of the smaller storage area for other items. The hardware on the bag is solid, and material of the bag seems very durable.

Pockets Galore!!

Review: Considering this is a DC bag I was expecting better quality. The zip already splits open and the small pocket on the front gapes & needs some velcro or something. I am disappointed with this product & would not buy again. Save your money buy another type/make of bag.

doing what it's supposed to do

Pros: about right size for your DCs + cell & lipstick ;-), good value for money
Cons: none I can tell
Review: This bag is doing what it is designed for, mainly keeping your DC headset and a couple of more things. I bought it because I don't want to squeeze my headset into my pilots bag. I don't mind that it is relatively small, it won't go as a full pilot's bag anyway, and that's not what it is designed for.

Review: I would like to see some compartments for glasses cases, pens, flashlights etc., and a snap-hook for keys. With only two places to put stuff everything ends up jumbled in the bottom.

Review: I was very impressed with the product I received. It seems like it will hold up very well to wear and tear. The extra pockets and zippered front will be nice to store smaller items required for flight. If it was mentioned in the product description, the bag also comes with a shoulder strap, if you think you need to use it.

Good bag for starting out

Review: I bought this with my David Clark H10-13S Stereo Headset. It fits the headset well. The front pocket is sized big enough to fit things like logbooks and check lists, which is all I really need while taking lessons. I throw in my wallet, keys, pens and cell phone too. There are two more front pockets and a rear pocket without closures.

Exactly what you need for a small and quick flightbag!

Review: The David Clark headset bag is *perfect* as a slim, concise bag for carrying all the essentials. I wanted something that wasn't the size of a briefcase (or a foot locker) that could still carry everything I need to go on a flight.
I can fit my headset, E6B, a couple charts, half-sheet pad of paper, pens and pencils, and other miscellaneous stuff in the bag with no problem. I can even slip my kneeboard and plotter in the back pocket and even though it sticks up, it's still easy to carry and compact.
It could have used a few sewn sleeves to hold pens or pencils, but otherwise is a great bag!

It works.

Review: Just the right size for the headset. This is much more secure and safe for the set than just loose in that big tool bag I used. I am trying to cut down on the size of bags I carry and this is a good first step. The extra zippered side pocket is handy for my cell phone adapter and charger. Folded papers fit well into the other pockets. I lost the included shoulder strap, but hadn't used it anyway. I should have bought this years ago.

Review: It's a small bag. If that's what you want, then this is a great buy. It has room enough for pens, charts, and the headset (of course). If you need more room, then get something bigger. If you don't, then this is the bag to get.
