Will buy again in the future by Luke from Liverpool NY USA
Pros: Quiet, great price Cons: Takes a little time to break in Review: This headest is the best non noise cancelling out there. I've noticed my passengers not complaining or giving negative feedback about the headset, compared to the others I usually borrow from the local FBO

Great value - great performance by Jim H. from Marysville, CA
Pros: price, adjustability, quietness Cons: none yet Review: Almost too quiet... the I0-360 in our C172 cannot be heard at idle or 2400rpm. Like the adjustable mike gain - it allows me to match my instructor's David C's mike squelch. Remember , the headset clamp spring is bendable - it is very comfortable after 3 hrs, after adjusting it to fit my non-round head !

Great headset for the money by Joshua from KBED
Pros: Price, stereo/mono, independent volume, cell phone connector, great passive reduction Cons: Microphone not quite as sensitive as it could be Review: For the money, I don't think you can do much better. It's not quite as comfortable as the David Clark, but I have no problem using it for ~3 hour cross countries. It's also lighter than the David Clark, which is great for my neck. Microphone is not quite as sensitive as higher end headsets, but that can be good or bad depending on your tastes. I don't mind it. That, combined with the stereo/mono capabilities, left/right independent volume adjustment, and cell phone connector, what more could you ask for?

Very Good Value for 1st timers by Eric from Overland Park KS USA
Pros: Best Value for the money & 1st timers Cons: A little tight Review: The product is extremely light and the material durable. Although the headset is a little tight for the first 20 hours of operation, it started to relax a little thereafter. The sound quality is very good and the noise cancellation is very quite.

A good value - I'm impressed - Performs better than expected by Greg from Charles Town, WV
Pros: Comfortable, great noise attenuation, clear reception and transmission, Included Cell Phone Interface works great! Cons: None so far. Performs very well. Review: I shopped around and compared many head sets and prices. This is the best deal I could find on this unit. I wanted to replace my old Telex. I mean really old Telex that I have been using since 1977 when I got my commercial ticket. Yeah, you could spend 8x this much for an ANR. But this one does just fine. I wouldn't limit it to a "starter" or "student" headset. It performs well and is quite comfortable. Comms are crystal clear. Go for it.

Not too bad. by A Customer from New York NY USA
Pros: Comfortable, good audio quality Cons: Mic could be more sensitive Review: The audio is pretty good and the volume control is a good feature. My only complaint is the mic is not sensitive enough, such that I have to make quite an effort to activate the plane's mic.

by George from Reston VA USA
Review: Good reviews elsewhere prompted me to try this set, about the cheapest one could buy. There are no disappointments, and no batteries to go flat. They are a little tight around the ears, but I got used to it. The volume controls on the chord are too easy to get inadvertently moved, but a little tape fixes that.

Excellent Headset, Excellent Price by Brian from Murfreesboro TN USA
Pros: Everything Cons: None Review: This headset really exceeded my expectations. I honestly have nothing negative to say about it. It's comfortable (especially on long x-country flights, the clarity is great and it is amazing at blocking out the noise. I'm really happy I chose this headset and will certainly be looking to go with Lightspeed again in the future.

Functional, compact, and durable by Michael from Katy TX USA
Pros: Great fit Cons: Flex mic arm Review: Feel more compact on your head than some of the others I've used. I've can't compare them to the upper cost $500+ set because of my lack of experience. Noise blocking and speaker sound is more than adequate for use in the older and noisier Cessna 172N's. However, I find myself repositioning the flexible mic arm often. Main body feels like a very durable design.

Great intro headset by Dennis Hollins from Evans GA USA
Pros: Price, looks, volume control Cons: There is a slight delay when you speak in the mic, but I think that is the noise silencer. The lack of name recognition makes you feel like an Review: I bought this headset because my ground school instructor told me not to spend more than $150 for a first headset. He said if I decided I really loved flying and kept it up I could buy a better set later and let friends and family use this one. I bought it largely on price, I never heard of the company and know no one who has one. But, I love my headset. It is very comfortable, the earphones provide a very quiet flight and I can communicate easily with my instructor who has one of the classic David Clark models. My set works perfectly well and I am glad I got it. Maybe I will trade up one day but at this point, this might be my headset for years to come. I especially like the volume control. I have not tried to use the cell phone hookup. I recommend this set highly.

Very Nice PNR Headset by Linda from Paducah, KY
Pros: Comfortable, lightweight, well fitting. Cons: Still hear outside sounds. Review: This Lightspeed PNR is my first headset so I have nothing to compare with. It works great, I hear my CFI very well. However, if I had to do it all over again, I would probably purchase an ANR Headset because I'm still able to hear outside sounds through this PNR headset. I probably should mention that I have excellent hearing and that may be why I still hear outside sounds. The fit is great and they are very comfortable, so all in all, for what I wanted, they work great.

WORTH EVERY CENT by Grady from Senatobia Mississippi
Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: No complaints as far as I am concerned. Review: I have used this product every day. GREAT performance, and WELL worth the money. My flight instructor even used the head sets, and was very amazed with the performance. I just wish I could find these things to take back to Iraq with me to have while on missions that would work on the radios in a humvee.
