Cons: Don't like the look of the long epaulet loops.
Review: Met my expectations. Looks great. Fits across the shoulders and around the neck. No need to iron. The epaulet loops are much longer than the last time I bought these shirts. That's the only thing that I don't like about these shirts. Will buy these shirts again.

Chest Epaulets.

Review: The shirt was fine except the epaulets are on the upper chest instead of on the shoulder of the shirt. I've always used Van Heusen Aviator shirts for 25 years, and I'll never buy them again. Again, the epaulets are way too low on the shoulder. I would never buy this product again.

Sent a factory reject

Review: Ordered two long sleeve Aviator shirts. One was great. Second one did not have a pencil/pen slot on top of the left pocket flap. Seems to be a factory reject that made it through. I didn't discover this detail until I had already washed the shirt and was putting it on in a hotel room. Oh well.

Review: Absolutely excellent shirt! It is made out of special fabric that repells stains (great for me because I'm always spraying fuel and oil all over myself) and it feels very nice to wear. I would reccommend this product over any other pilot shirt on the market to any pilot! GREAT BUY!

I would never buy these shirts again

Pros: Needed a long sleeve shirt quickly, thats about all I got.
Cons: cheap and poor quality for the price. Fit like cheap knock -offs.
Review: These shirts looked and fitted like the knock-off shirts that crews can get in China. The shirts seemed "washed out" after just 3 wearings and wont hold a good ironing, seem cheap and wrinkled in no time.The epaulets seem to be crooked, and too far forward on the shoulders. Wont buy shirts again.

Nice shirt - BUT missing needed buttons and second pen holder.

Cons: Sleeve catches on the throttle levers; only one pocket for pens.
Review: Shirt fits well, and I prefer it's softer feel over the oxford material of my previous shirts. HOWEVER, there is one big gripe that I have: Almost every time that I wear the shirt, my sleeve gets caught on the throttle levers, because there is no button to hold the sleeve area together between the wrist and elbow. It's very annoying! Also, my previous shirts have places to insert pens through the top of BOTH front pockets. This shirt has an opening in only one of the pockets.

I won't buy Van Heusen pilot shirts again!

Pros: Nice shirts if you are able to wear half size collars
Cons: Half the pilots in the country can't comfortably wear Van Heusen shirts.
Review: Van Heusen no longer makes pilot shirts with whole neck size. I wear a size 16 neck - 15 1/2 neck size is too tight & 16 1/2 is too loose. Because of this, I've quit buying Van Heusen & am now ordering my shirts from England, as are many of my fellow pilots.

Review: I prefer pleated "pouch" pockets. I'm not tall, but the sleeves could/should have been about 1/2" longer for me. For professional pilot use, the neck could/should be about 1/2" looser. (I can't fit into a 16" neck size--it looks baggy on me.)

Review: The shirts fabric is paper thin. In the past when I bought this shirt from Van Heusen it felt like the fabric was thicker and would last. This shirt has no colar supports. It used to.
