Not the right cable, old version of SW...

Pros: It's a start...
Cons: Not yet a solution but I couldn't find anything else close.
Review: The cable comes in two parts. One segment was correct (computer side), other part was not even close (radio side). I was able to find the radio side of the cable on internet (for an additional $49). Software is buggy but works on XP (not Vista unless you are a guru). Found the latest SW version on internet but still buggy and old. Wish I had the source to fix it...

Don't buy this!!

Cons: Wrong adaptor, falsly advertised, no software
Review: This product is falsely advertised. It DOES NOT come with the software, and it DOES NOT work with the VXA-710. It is not the correct adapter. I called and told them that, so they sent me a different one promising me it would work, and it is still not the correct one. I'm $85 poorer and still not able to program my VXA-710 radio! If you feel like making a donation to mypilotstore.com and having yet another item to throw in the garbage, you should purchase this, otherwise don't waist your money or time.
