On Saturday, November 12, 2011 a customer asked:
Q: Is the software compatible with MAC OS?
A:
No, this software will only work on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. If you need a solution for the Mac, we would suggest the ASA Commercial PrepWare software and/or the ASA Instrument PrepWare software. The ASA PrepWare software runs on both Windows and Mac.
On Thursday, January 01, 2009 a customer asked:
Q: I used Gleim's kit for my PPL and found it to be all I needed (probably more because I really only used the test disc, the maneuvers book and the pilot handbook). I was thinking about trying to get a head start on my instrument training andn am wondering why the commercial andd instrument seem to come bundled. Is there a reason you would want to take both at once? Or one before the other? I am under the impression that you can take instrument without ever needing a commercial rating (and vice versa). Thanks.
A:
This kit is designed for people who are planning to obtain their Instrument rating followed by their Commercial rating. We also offer the Instrument Kit by itself here.
On Thursday, December 28, 2006 a customer asked:
Q: Are any of these books going to be outdated (changing from 2006 to 2007)? If so, when??
Thanks, RWB
A:
The 2007 books and software came out in August 2006 so all of the materials are current until the 2008 edition is published sometime in late summer 2007. At that time, updates can be downloaded from the Gleim website at no charge.
